"Desperation's Edge"

As I struggled to breathe, my eyes began to well up with tears. The desperation in the air was suffocating, and I could feel my heart racing in my chest. Just as I thought all hope was lost, a loud shout pierced the silence. "A student escaped!" it was Kurogiri's voice, and for a moment, Shigaraki's grip on my neck loosened. I felt a surge of relief wash over me as I heard the name of the student who had escaped - Ida. But my reprieve was short-lived, as Shigaraki's grip tightened once more. I choked, my vision blurring as I struggled to free myself. Shigaraki's eyes gleamed with malice as he gazed at Aizawa-sensei. "No, my turn to take care of Eraserhead," he sneered, his voice dripping with venom. My fear spiked as I realized he was now focused on taking down Aizawa-sensei. I tried to plead with him, but all that came out was a weak "n-no". My voice was barely audible, but Shigaraki's eyes locked onto mine, and I could see the sadistic pleasure he took in my terror. Aizawa-sensei's eyes narrowed, his gaze burning with determination. He took a step forward, but Shigaraki was ready for him. With a swift motion, he yanked me closer, using me as a human shield. I winced in pain as his fingers dug deeper into my skin. Deku's face was contorted in anguish as he watched, helpless to do anything. The rest of the class was still frozen in place, unsure of how to react. The tension was palpable, and I could feel my life slipping away. Shigaraki's laughter sent shivers down my spine. "You think you can take me down, Eraserhead? I have the power of decay on my side. You're no match for me." His grip on my neck tightened, and I felt my airway constricting once more. I knew I had to think fast, or I would be trapped forever. But as I looked into Shigaraki's eyes, I saw only madness and a desire for destruction. I was running out of time, and I knew I had to rely on my friends to save me. But as I glanced at Deku, I saw the fear and uncertainty written all over his face. Was he strong enough to save me? Only time would tell.
