**Chapter 16: A Royal Welcome Home**

A few days had passed since Ami and Minako had brought their precious babies, Mary and Aiden, home from the hospital. The house was still quiet, with only the occasional cries of the babies breaking the silence. Minako and Ami were taking turns feeding, changing, and soothing their little ones, but they both knew they needed some help. As they were trying to figure out how to manage everything, they heard a knock at the door. Minako got up to answer it, expecting it to be one of their friends or family members with a gift or a visit. But to her surprise, it was Mario and Luigi, the famous plumbers from the Mushroom Kingdom. "Hey, it's-a us, Mario and Luigi!" Mario exclaimed, his mustache twirling with excitement. "We heard you had some new additions to the family, and we just had to come and meet them!" Luigi nodded in agreement, his eyes shining with enthusiasm. "And we brought some help, too. We figured you could use a hand with the babies, and we wanted to do something special for you." As they entered the house, Minako and Ami were amazed to see that Mario and Luigi had brought with them a team of Toads, who were busily setting up a beautiful nursery in the next room. "Wow, you didn't have to do that!" Minako exclaimed, her eyes welling up with tears. Mario and Luigi smiled, their faces flushed with pride. "We wanted to. We're uncles, after all! We have to spoil our nieces and nephews rotten!" The Toads worked quickly and efficiently, setting up a stunning nursery with a beautiful crib, changing table, and all sorts of toys and gadgets for the babies. Ami and Minako were amazed by the generosity and thoughtfulness of their friends. Finally, the nursery was finished, and Mario and Luigi got to meet Mary and Aiden. They oohed and ahhed over the babies, cooing and making silly faces to try and get them to smile. "We're-a so happy to meet you, little ones!" Mario exclaimed, holding up a Warp Pipe toy for Mary to grab. Luigi nodded in agreement, making funny voices and playing with Aiden's toes. "You're-a going to have so much fun with us, we're-a going to have the best adventures together!" As the day went on, Ami and Minako were grateful for the help and company. Mario and Luigi stayed for dinner, and they all sat down together to enjoy a meal and celebrate the arrival of the babies. As they said their goodbyes and headed back to the Mushroom Kingdom, Ami and Minako were grateful for their friends and their generosity. They knew that they had found a special kind of love and support in their community, and they were excited to see what the future held for their little family.
