Chapter 1: An Unspoken Bond
Part 1
The night sky was painted with a million twinkling stars, a sight that Fourth Nattawat had always found solace in. As he lay on his bed, staring up at the ceiling, his mind wandered to his best friend, Gemini Norawit. They had been inseparable since the day they met, sharing every secret, every dream, and every fear with each other. Fourth couldn't help but feel a flutter in his chest whenever Gemini was near, but he had always brushed it off as mere affection for a dear friend. As he drifted off to sleep, Fourth's phone buzzed with a text from Gemini. "Hey, I'm outside your place. Want to grab some late-night food?" The message was simple, but it sent a spark of excitement through Fourth's veins. He quickly threw on some clothes and rushed outside to meet Gemini. The streets were quiet, save for the occasional passerby or the distant hum of a motorcycle. Gemini was leaning against a streetlamp, his eyes fixed on Fourth as he approached. "Hey," Gemini said, a small smile playing on his lips. Fourth smiled back, feeling his heart skip a beat. "What's up? I was just about to sleep." Gemini shrugged. "I couldn't sleep. I was thinking about you." Fourth's cheeks flushed, but he tried to play it cool. "Oh? What about me?" Gemini's eyes locked onto Fourth's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. "I don't know... I just feel like we can talk about anything, you know? You're the only one who really gets me." Fourth's heart swelled with emotion. "You feel the same way about me, don't you?" The air was thick with tension as Gemini took a step closer to Fourth. "Yeah... I do." Without another word, Gemini reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair out of Fourth's face. The touch sent shivers down Fourth's spine, and he felt himself leaning into Gemini's hand. As they stood there, the world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a sea of possibility. Fourth's heart was racing, but he knew that he couldn't deny the connection between them any longer. Gemini's eyes seemed to be searching for something, and Fourth knew that he was on the verge of finding out what that something was. As they stood there, inches apart, Fourth felt Gemini's hand slip down to his waist, and then, without warning, Gemini pulled him close. Their lips met in a soft, gentle kiss, and Fourth felt like he was home. The world around him faded away, and all that was left was Gemini, and the love that had been growing between them for so long. As they broke apart for air, Gemini looked at Fourth with a mixture of curiosity and nervousness. "Fourth... can I come over tonight?" Fourth's heart was still racing from the kiss, but he nodded, his voice barely above a whisper. "Yeah... I want you to." As they walked back to Fourth's place, hand in hand, the night sky seemed to brighten, as if the stars themselves were celebrating the love that had finally been acknowledged between them.
