**Rebellion's Spark**

Part 18

"You're not listening to me, Kacchan," Osby said, his voice firm but laced with a hint of desperation as we paused in the dimly lit corridor. The sound of Dabi's flames and Shigaraki's quirk-induced destruction grew louder, a constant reminder of our precarious situation. I spun around, my eyes blazing with anger. "Why are you doing this? Why are you calling me Kacchan? My name is Vesper," I said, my voice rising. I tried to push him away, but he stood firm, his grip on my arm unyielding. Osby's expression faltered, and for a moment, I saw a glimmer of confusion in his eyes. "Vesper?" he repeated, his voice hesitant. "But... Kacchan, we've been friends for so long. I've always called you Kacchan." I shook my head, my mind reeling with emotions. "That's not the point! The point is, you're not listening to me. I want to go back for Bakugo, and I don't care if you want to or not. I'm going back," I said, my voice firm. Osby's face darkened, and he took a step closer to me. "Vesper, don't be reckless. We can't take on Shigaraki and his crew alone. We need a plan, and we need to get out of here before it's too late," he said, his voice low and urgent. But I was beyond reason. I pulled my arm free from his grasp and took a step back, my eyes locked on the corridor behind us. "I don't care," I said, my voice cold. "I'm going back. You can come with me or not, but I'm not leaving Bakugo behind." Osby's expression turned grim, and he sighed. "Fine, Vesper. If that's what you want, then I'll come with you. But you have to promise me one thing: you have to listen to me and follow my lead. We can't afford to make any mistakes," he said, his eyes searching mine. I hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Deal," I said, my voice firm. Osby nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Alright, let's go. But stay close, and watch my back," he said, his eyes glinting with determination. Together, we turned and sprinted back down the corridor, the sound of sirens growing fainter as we moved further away from the entrance. I could feel Osby's eyes on me, but I didn't look back. I knew that if I did, I might see something that would make me doubt my decision. Instead, I focused on the corridor ahead, my heart pounding in my chest. As we ran, the corridors seemed to blur together. I could hear the sound of footsteps behind us, and Dabi's flames seemed to be getting closer. But I didn't falter, my determination driving me forward. We turned a corner, and suddenly, the corridor opened up into a large, dimly lit chamber. And there, in the center of the room, was Bakugo, his eyes locked on mine as he struggled against the ropes that bound him. I didn't hesitate. I sprinted towards him, Osby at my heels, and together, we charged into the unknown.
