"Behind Bars and Betrayed"
Part 4
As the minutes ticked by, Ashley's anxiety grew, and she could feel the panic rising to the surface. Her heart was racing, and her breathing became shallow and rapid. She tried to calm herself down, but it was no use. The fear and uncertainty were overwhelming her. She started to hyperventilate, and her vision began to blur. Just as she thought she was going to lose control, the cell door opened, and a stern-looking officer walked in. He was tall and imposing, with a scowl on his face that made Ashley's fear spike. "What's going on here?" he barked, his voice loud and harsh. The other officer, who had been sitting at the desk outside the cell, walked in and nodded at the stern-looking officer. "She's having a panic attack, Sarge," he said. The Sarge looked at Ashley with disdain. "Get a grip, kid," he snapped. "You're not going to get out of this by throwing a tantrum." Ashley felt a surge of anger at his words, but she was too scared and overwhelmed to respond. The Sarge walked over to her and grabbed her arm, pulling her to her feet. "Strip her," he ordered the other officer. Ashley's eyes widened in horror as the other officer stepped forward and started to strip her clothes off. She tried to struggle, but the Sarge held her firm. "Don't make this any harder than it has to be," he growled. Ashley felt a wave of humiliation wash over her as she was forced to stand there, naked and vulnerable, in front of the two officers. The Sarge then proceeded to search her, his hands roaming over her body in a way that made her skin crawl. When he was finished, he nodded at the other officer, who handed him a pair of grey sweatpants and a matching top. The Sarge handed Ashley the clothes, and she quickly pulled them on, still feeling shaken and vulnerable. As she was dressing, the Sarge handcuffed her wrists behind her back, the metal cuffs digging into her skin. "You're going to have to get used to these," he said, his voice cold and unforgiving. Ashley felt a fresh wave of fear and despair wash over her. She was completely at the mercy of these two men, and she had no idea what they were going to do to her. The Sarge then turned to the other officer and nodded. "Take her down to the interview room," he said. "We need to get to the bottom of this." Ashley was dragged out of the cell, her heart heavy with fear and her mind racing with questions. What did they want from her? And how was she going to get out of this nightmare?
