The next morning, Emily woke up feeling like she was walking on air. She couldn't shake off the memory of Joe's charming smile and sparkling eyes. As she got ready for work, she found herself checking her phone every few minutes, half-expecting a text from him. But as she headed to the hospital, her phone remained silent. At the hospital, Emily's colleagues couldn't help but notice her distracted demeanor. "What's going on, Em?" her coworker, Rachel, asked as they changed into their scrubs. "You've been walking around with a smile on your face all morning." Emily blushed, trying to play it cool. "Just a good morning, that's all," she replied, but Rachel's curious gaze lingered. As the day went on, Emily's mind kept wandering back to Joe. She wondered if she would ever see him again, or if their encounter was just a one-time fluke. She tried to focus on her patients, but her eyes kept drifting to the clock, hoping that Joe would somehow magically appear. Meanwhile, Joe was making progress in his search for Emily. He had decided to pay a visit to the hospital's pediatric department, hoping to catch a glimpse of her. As he walked through the corridors, he was stopped by several staff members who recognized him and asked for autographs or selfies. When he finally reached the pediatric ward, he was greeted by a stern-looking nurse who eyed him warily. "Can I help you, Mr. Bengals?" she asked, her tone firm but polite. Joe flashed his famous smile. "I'm looking for a nurse named Emily. We met briefly yesterday, and I was hoping to catch up with her again." The nurse's expression softened slightly. "I think I might know who you're talking about. Let me check the staff roster." As she checked the computer, Joe's heart began to beat faster. Was he finally going to find Emily? The nurse looked up, a hint of a smile on her face. "Yes, I think I found her. Emily Wilson is one of our pediatric nurses. She's usually on the third floor. Would you like me to page her for you?" Joe's face lit up with excitement. "That would be great, thank you!" As the nurse picked up the phone to page Emily, Joe couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. He was one step closer to finding the mysterious nurse who had captured his attention.
