Musical Mayhem

Part 143

As I glance over at Sera, I can tell that she's just getting started. Her eyes sparkle with mischief, and a sly grin spreads across her face. "Okay, now it's your turn," she says, her voice dripping with excitement. I look at her, taken aback. "Wait, what?" I ask, trying to process what's happening. Sera just laughs and nods towards the music player. "You do one on your own," she says, her eyes sparkling with challenge. I hesitate for a moment, unsure of what's going on. But then I see that she's already put on a song, and my heart skips a beat as I realize it's my favorite song, one that I've listened to countless times. The music starts, and I feel a surge of adrenaline as I take a deep breath. I start to sing, my voice shaking at first, but as the music builds, I find myself getting lost in the lyrics. I close my eyes, letting the music wash over me, and when I open them again, I'm surprised to see that everyone is staring at me in amazement. Kirishima's eyes are wide with shock, and Bakugo's face is twisted into a mixture of surprise and admiration. Deku's eyes are shining with excitement, and Kaminari's face is alight with a goofy grin. Shinso, however, looks like he's been punched in the gut, his eyes fixed on me with a look of pure adoration. As I finish the song, the room falls silent, and I'm mortified, thinking that I've made a total fool of myself. But then, to my surprise, everyone starts applauding, whistling and cheering. Even Kirishima and Bakugo are grinning at me, looking impressed. Sera walks over to me, a huge smile on her face. "You sounded amazing," she says, her eyes shining with excitement. I blush, feeling embarrassed but also strangely elated. I look over at Shinso, who is still staring at me with a lovesick expression. "Shinso, what's wrong with you?" I ask, trying to tease him. But Shinso just shakes his head, his eyes never leaving mine. "You have no idea how beautiful you sound when you sing," he says, his voice low and husky. I feel a flutter in my chest as I realize that Shinso, Kirishima, Bakugo, Deku, and even Kaminari are all staring at me with looks of admiration and affection. I look away, feeling my face heat up with embarrassment, but also a strange sense of happiness. Maybe, just maybe, I'm starting to get used to this attention thing.
