Trouble in Paradise
Part 4
A loud cry echoed through the jungle, and Bakugou's head snapped towards the sound. Y/N, who had been exploring the jungle with her guide, suddenly froze, her eyes wide with fear. A baby monkey had climbed down from a nearby tree and was now standing in front of her, its eyes blazing with anger. The guide, who had been busy examining the local flora, turned towards Y/N and the monkey, his expression calm. "It's okay, little guy," he said, holding out a hand. "We're not going to hurt you." But the monkey was not interested in the guide's soothing words. It took a step closer to Y/N, its eyes fixed on something in her hand. Bakugou saw that she was holding a piece of paper, a drawing of the monkey itself. The monkey seemed to want the drawing, and it was getting angrier by the second. Y/N, however, was not willing to give up the drawing. She held it close to her chest, her eyes flashing with defiance. The monkey let out a loud screech, and Bakugou could see the tension building between them. Suddenly, the monkey let out a high-pitched cry, and the other monkeys in the jungle responded. Bakugou could hear the sound of branches snapping and leaves rustling as the monkeys swung through the trees, their angry cries echoing through the jungle. Bakugou knew that he had to act fast. He couldn't let Y/N get hurt. He quickly scanned his surroundings, his eyes locking onto a nearby vine. With a swift motion, he swung through the trees, using the vine to carry him towards Y/N. The monkeys were closing in, their eyes blazing with anger. Bakugou could see the fear in Y/N's eyes, and he knew that he had to protect her. With a fierce cry, he launched himself at the monkeys, using his agility and strength to distract them. The monkeys turned towards him, their eyes surprised. Bakugou took advantage of the distraction to grab Y/N and swing through the vines, carrying her to safety. As they swung through the jungle, Y/N's arms wrapped tightly around his neck, her face buried in his shoulder. Bakugou could feel her heart pounding against his chest, and he knew that she was scared. He tried to reassure her, speaking softly into her ear. "It's okay, I've got you. You're safe." As they finally reached a safe perch, Bakugou set Y/N down, his eyes locking onto hers. She looked up at him, her eyes wide with fear and gratitude. "Thank you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Bakugou smiled, feeling a sense of pride and satisfaction. He had protected Y/N, and he had done it with ease. But as he looked into her eyes, he felt a strange sense of connection. He couldn't explain it, but he felt like he had known her for years, not just minutes. Y/N, on the other hand, was still trying to process what had just happened. She looked up at Bakugou, her eyes searching for answers. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice curious. Bakugou hesitated, unsure of how to respond. He didn't know what to call himself, or where he came from. But as he looked into Y/N's eyes, he knew that he had to tell her the truth. "My name is Katsuki," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. Y/N smiled, her eyes sparkling with interest. "I'm Y/N," she said. "Nice to meet you, Katsuki." Bakugou smiled back, feeling a sense of connection that he had never felt before. He knew that his life was about to change, and he was excited to see what the future held.
