**The Journey**

Part 1

The salty sea air whipped through Iduna's brown hair, which was tied up in a low braided bun, as she stood at the helm of the ship, her eyes fixed on the horizon. Beside her, her husband Agnarr grasped the wheel, his eyes squinting against the wind. Their daughters, Elsa and Anna, were below deck, Elsa in her bedroom, her door locked, and Anna trying to keep her sister's spirits up. Iduna's thoughts were with Elsa, who was struggling to control her powers. The young queen-to-be was terrified of hurting those she loved, and Iduna and Agnarr had decided to seek out the wisdom of the ancient river Ahtohallan. Perhaps its waters held the key to understanding and mastering Elsa's abilities. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the waves, Iduna felt a sense of unease. The sea had been calm all day, but now the wind began to pick up, and the waves grew choppy. Agnarr's face set in a determined expression as he shouted orders to the sailors. "Iduna, get the girls!" he cried, but it was too late. A massive wave crashed over the ship, sweeping Agnarr overboard. Iduna clung to a piece of debris, her screams lost in the howling wind. She closed her eyes, praying for survival, as the storm raged on. When she opened them again, she was alone, the wreckage of the ship scattered around her. She was washed up on a sandy beach, her body battered and bruised. As she lay there, she thought of Elsa and Anna, and a sob caught in her throat. Her daughters were safe in Arendelle, or so she hoped. She remembered the day they had left, Elsa's door locked, and Anna's worried face. The sun beat down on her, and Iduna drifted in and out of consciousness. She was vaguely aware of voices, footsteps, and the feeling of being lifted onto a stretcher. When she opened her eyes again, she was in a grand hall, surrounded by stone walls and ornate tapestries. A kind-faced woman smiled at her, and Iduna tried to speak, but her voice was hoarse. "Welcome, Your Majesty," the woman said, curtsying. "I am Queen Alice. You are in the southern isles, and you have been brought here to our palace." Iduna's eyes widened as she took in the queen's words. "How...how did I get here?" she asked, her voice still rough. Queen Alice's expression turned sympathetic. "You washed up on our shores, injured and alone. But do not worry, you are safe now. We will do everything in our power to help you recover." Iduna's thoughts turned to Agnarr, and she sat up, a pang of grief striking her heart. "My husband...Agnarr?" Queen Alice's face faltered, and she placed a gentle hand on Iduna's arm. "I'm afraid he did not survive the shipwreck, Your Majesty." Tears pricked at the corners of Iduna's eyes as she processed the news. She was alone, in a foreign land, with no sign of her daughters. But she was determined to survive, for Elsa and Anna's sake. As she lay back, a memory of Elsa's worried face flashed through her mind. She hoped her daughters were safe, and that she would see them again soon. In Arendelle, Elsa stood in her bedroom, her door locked, and her heart heavy with worry. She had been feeling so out of control lately, and the thought of her parents seeking help for her powers was both comforting and terrifying. Anna knocked on the door, concern etched on her face. "Elsa, are you okay? Mom and Dad have been gone for hours." Elsa hesitated, unsure of how to respond. She didn't want to worry Anna, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. "I'll be fine, Anna," she called through the door. "Just...just give me some time, okay?" Anna's voice was muffled on the other side of the door. "Okay, Elsa. But if you need me, just let me know." Elsa smiled, feeling a pang of love for her sister. She knew Anna would always be there for her, no matter what.
