"Moving Forward"
Part 13
Blitz's expression softened further as he looked at Vassago, really looked at him, and saw the genuine remorse in his eyes. He knew that Vassago wasn't a person to take advantage of others, especially not in such a vulnerable state. Blitz took a deep breath and let his shoulders relax, trying to calm the tension that had built up between them. "Vassago, look at me," Blitz said, his voice a little softer now. Vassago's eyes met his, and Blitz could see the fear of rejection, of losing him, written all over his face. But Blitz wasn't going anywhere. They were boyfriends, after all, and boyfriends forgave each other. "I'm not mad at you," Blitz said, trying to reassure Vassago. "At least, not in the way you think." Vassago's face was still etched with worry, and Blitz reached out to gently brush a strand of hair out of his face. "I'm more...surprised, I guess. And a little hurt that you didn't talk to me about it first." Vassago's face crumpled, and he looked like he was about to cry. "I'm so sorry, Blitz. I was wrong to do that, and I know I shouldn't have taken advantage of you while you were asleep." Blitz's heart went out to him, and he knew that he couldn't stay mad. "Vassago, stop," Blitz said, his voice firm but gentle. "You're my boyfriend, and I love you. You didn't take advantage of me. If anything, I think we both wanted it, even if I didn't know it at the time." Vassago's eyes snapped up to meet Blitz's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Blitz smiled, trying to put Vassago at ease. "I forgive you, Vassago. But next time, can we please talk about it first?" Vassago's face lit up with relief, and he nodded vigorously, his eyes shining with tears. "Always," Vassago whispered, his voice trembling. Blitz's heart swelled with love for him, and he reached out to pull Vassago into a gentle hug. As they wrapped their arms around each other, Blitz knew that they would be okay, that they would get through this and come out stronger on the other side. As they hugged, Blitz couldn't help but think about how much he loved Vassago, and how much he was willing to work through their issues together. They were in this for the long haul, and Blitz was excited to see what the future held for them. With a newfound sense of understanding and forgiveness, Blitz and Vassago held each other, ready to face whatever came next.
