## Chapter 2: The Shipwreck

Part 2

The icy grip of the storm seemed to tighten around Iduna as she clung to the piece of debris, her body numb and her mind reeling with thoughts of her family and the fate of her husband. The waves crashed against her, threatening to pull her under at any moment, and the wind howled like a chorus of lost souls. She had managed to survive the initial plunge into the water, but the storm showed no signs of abating. As the night wore on, Iduna's thoughts turned to her daughters, Elsa and Anna, and she wondered if she would ever see them again. She knew she had to hold on, no matter what, and pray that she would be reunited with them soon. But for now, she was alone, at the mercy of the sea, and the storm that seemed to have no end. The ship, which had been her refuge just hours before, was now nothing more than a memory. She had seen it crash against the rocks, the sound of splintering wood and screams carrying across the water. Iduna's heart sank as she realized that Agnarr was still on the ship. She was alive, but he... Oh, Agnarr! She whispered his name, her voice lost in the wind. The storm raged on, and Iduna's body began to feel like it was made of ice. Her fingers, numb and aching, struggled to maintain their grip on the debris. She knew she couldn't hold on for much longer. The cold was seeping into her bones, and she could feel her energy ebbing away. Just when she thought she couldn't take it anymore, the storm seemed to begin to subside. The waves still crashed against her, but their fury had diminished, and the wind no longer howled with the same intensity. Iduna lay there, her body exhausted, her mind foggy. As the first light of dawn crept over the horizon, Iduna saw that she was surrounded by debris from the ship. She spotted a few pieces of wreckage floating nearby, but there was no sign of Agnarr or the rest of the crew. She was alone. The realization hit her like a ton of bricks. She was alive, but Agnarr was gone. The thought filled her with a deep and abiding sorrow. Iduna closed her eyes, letting the tears stream down her face as she mourned the loss of her beloved husband. As the sun rose higher in the sky, Iduna knew she had to find a way to stay alive. She looked around, taking stock of her situation. She was still clinging to a piece of debris, but she knew she couldn't stay there forever. She needed to find shelter, food, and water. The sea, which had been her enemy just hours before, now seemed to be her only hope. Iduna let go of the debris and began to swim, her body aching with every stroke. She didn't know where she was going, but she knew she had to keep moving. As she swam, Iduna felt a sense of determination rising within her. She would survive, no matter what. She would make it back to Arendelle, to her daughters, and she would find a way to heal the wounds of her heart. The thought gave her the strength to keep going, to keep swimming against the currents of the sea. And so, Iduna swam on, her body numb, her heart heavy with grief, but her spirit unbroken. She knew that she would face many challenges in the days ahead, but she was ready to face them head-on. She would survive, for herself, for Agnarr, and for her daughters.
