"Beyond the Walls of Uncertainty"
Part 1
The sun had long since dipped below the horizon, casting a deep orange glow over the desolate landscape that stretched out before us. My eyes, a piercing yellow, scanned the terrain with a mix of caution and instinct, my sharp titan teeth gleaming in the fading light. As a half-human, half-titan, I had grown accustomed to my unique features – my razor-sharp claws, like those of a lion, and my teeth, sharp and pointed like a tiger's. I was a part of Hange Zoë's squad in the Survey Corps, and we were on an expedition outside the walls, tasked with gathering crucial information about the Titans that lurked beyond our safe haven. As I settled in for the night, my hand instinctively went to my swollen pouch, where multiple tiny little titan hatchlings were growing inside me. I had discovered I was pregnant shortly after our last mission, and it had been a whirlwind of emotions ever since. Excitement, fear, and a deep sense of protectiveness had taken hold of me, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of love for the tiny creatures developing within me. Hange, my girlfriend and squad leader, noticed my gaze and smiled softly as she approached me. Her eyes sparkled with a mix of curiosity and adoration as she reached out to gently brush a strand of hair behind my ear. "How are they doing tonight?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. I smiled, my lips curling up as I placed a hand on my pouch. "They're being their usual rambunctious selves," I replied, my deep voice rumbling. Hange's eyes lit up with excitement as she leaned in, her lips brushing against my swollen pouch. I felt a sudden jolt of sensation as one of the unborn titan hatchlings pushed against the pouch, its tiny form rubbing against Hange's lips. She gasped, her eyes widening in delight. "Ah, they're active tonight, aren't they?" she exclaimed, her voice filled with wonder. I chuckled, a low rumble that seemed to vibrate through my entire body. "It seems they are," I replied, my eyes watching as Hange continued to gently kiss my pouch. The unborn titan hatchlings seemed to be responding to her affection, their tiny movements growing more pronounced as they sensed her presence. As we sat there, surrounded by the dark expanse of the Titan-infested lands, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. It was a fragile feeling, one that could be shattered at any moment by the dangers that lurked beyond our camp. But with Hange by my side, and the tiny titan hatchlings growing within me, I felt a sense of hope that I hadn't felt in a long time. For the first time in my life, I felt like I was part of something bigger than myself, something that transcended the walls that had confined me for so long. And as I looked at Hange, her eyes shining with love and curiosity, I knew that I would do anything to protect her, and our unborn children, from the uncertainties that lay beyond the walls.
