"Reunions and Revelations"
Part 63
As we continued to walk and discuss our plans for the upcoming tournament, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. It wasn't long before my instincts proved to be correct, as a sudden flash of light appeared on the scene once again. This time, however, it was Dabi who vanished into thin air. The group gasped in shock, and I felt a surge of panic. "Dabi!" I shouted, but there was no response. Kurofiri's expression turned serious, and he took a step forward. "I'll get him," he said, his voice firm. Without another word, Kurofiri closed his eyes and focused his Quirk. A moment later, a flash of light appeared, and Dabi reappeared, looking disoriented but otherwise unharmed. The group breathed a collective sigh of relief, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Kurofiri. "Thanks, Kurofiri," I said, smiling. Kurofiri nodded, his expression still serious. "No problem," he said. "We need to stick together if we're going to make it through this tournament." As we stood there, catching our breath, I turned to the group and said, "Damn, we almost got him." The group chuckled, and even Dabi cracked a small smile. "Yeah, thanks for getting me back, Kurofiri," he said, his voice a little softer than usual. Kurofiri nodded, and we all continued on our way, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. As we walked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with my friends. We were in this together, and I was determined to make sure we all made it through the tournament in one piece. The group continued to chat and joke around, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was still off. The tournament was approaching fast, and we still had a lot to prepare for. I was determined to make sure we were all ready, and I knew that with my friends by my side, we could overcome anything.
