Confrontation at Breakfast
Part 2
The next morning, Ray, Rakai, and Tota gathered in the cafeteria for breakfast, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of students chatting and laughing. The trio had decided to live stream their morning, and Ray's camera captured the vibrant atmosphere as they sat down at a table, food in hand. Ray, still a bit worn out from the previous night's events, gave a tired smile to the camera, while Rakai enthusiastically waved at his viewers. Tota, as usual, simply smiled and nodded, enjoying the attention. Meanwhile, in his office, Dean Kai sat in front of his computer, monitoring the students' live streams. His eyes were fixed on Ray's stream, observing the young streamer's interactions with his friends. Kai had taken a particular interest in Ray, who had become somewhat of a protégé to him. He had been keeping an eye on the young streamer, making sure he was adjusting well to university life. Back in the cafeteria, Tylil and the random student, whose name was Bryce, had been plotting their next move. They had been fuming since the previous night, and their anger had only intensified overnight. As they approached Ray's table, Tylil's eyes narrowed, and he grabbed both Tota and Ray in a choke hold. The two quickly wriggled free, and Tylil, realizing his physical approach wasn't going to work, decided to resort to verbal aggression. "You're going to pay for what you did, Ray!" Tylil shouted, his face red with anger. Bryce joined in, and the two began to verbally attack the trio. Ray, never one to back down, swiftly fired back comebacks that left Tylil and Bryce seething. As the argument escalated, Tylil started to push Ray and Rakai, while Ray calmly told Tota to get away from the area. Tota, not wanting to escalate the situation, took a few steps back, but only about five feet away, still keeping a watchful eye on his friends. Bryce, trying to strike a nerve, sneered at Ray, "What, you're gonna call Daddy Kai in here to save you?" Ray, unfazed, shot back, "Yeah, Kai's my daddy, and he'll make you vanish from this university." Tylil and Bryce's faces turned beet red with rage, and it seemed like things were about to get out of hand. But just as they were about to take a step further, a booming voice erupted throughout the cafeteria. "Tylil and Bryce, stop that this instant!" Dean Kai's loud and angry announcement sent a chill down the spines of everyone in the cafeteria. The students turned to see Kai, looking a bit disheveled, storming into the room. "Tylil, Ray, Rakai, and Bryce, my office now," Kai announced, his voice firm and commanding. "And end your live streams." The four students reluctantly shut down their streams and followed Kai to his office, unsure of what lay ahead.
