"The Unseen Presence"

Part 4

We had been watching her for a while now, Noa, the one who had unknowingly been a part of our lives for so long. We had been waiting for her to come back to the house, to stir up the memories and emotions that we had been keeping hidden for so long. As we observed her, we noticed that she was starting to feel our presence, to sense that something was off. At first, it was just a nagging feeling, but as the days went by, she became more and more convinced that she was being watched. We were amused by her attempts to brush it off as grief, but as she started to search the house, we knew it was only a matter of time before she started to uncover the truth. She would walk through the empty rooms, her footsteps echoing off the walls, and we could sense her trying to shake off the feeling that she was being stalked by something. But we were always one step ahead, watching her, waiting for her to make a move. As she called her friend Emily, we could feel her anxiety building. She was trying to distract herself by doing some chores, but every creak of the floorboards, every groan of the old wooden beams, made her jump. We were enjoying the show, but we knew that we had to be careful. We didn't want to scare her off just yet. When Emily arrived, we were intrigued by her presence. She seemed to be able to sense that something was off, and she was determined to help Noa figure out what was going on. Together, they started to search the house, room by room, looking for anything out of the ordinary. We watched as they searched, their movements methodical and thorough. As they searched, Noa started to talk about finding our body, about wanting to know where we were buried. We were taken aback by this. No one had ever looked for us before, and we weren't sure how to react. But as we listened to her, we started to realize that we had a choice to make. We could continue to hide, to keep our existence a secret, or we could reveal ourselves to her. As we weighed our options, we started to think about Noa's determination and courage. She was not one to give up easily, and we knew that she would keep searching until she found the truth. And so, we made a decision. We would reveal ourselves to her, but not yet. We wanted to make sure that she was ready, that she could handle the truth. For now, we would continue to watch her, to guide her on her journey. We would let her think that she was getting closer to the truth, but we would keep our secrets hidden for just a little while longer. As the night wore on, and Noa left the house with Emily, we couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. We were finally going to reveal ourselves to her, and we couldn't wait to see her reaction.
