**Chapter 13: Tangled Webs**
Part 13
As they stood there, locked in a silent understanding, Psylocke couldn't shake off the feeling that they were walking into a trap. Magik's smile had seemed genuine, but Psylocke had seen the calculating glint in her eye, and she knew that they hadn't seen the last of her schemes. Luna seemed to sense her unease, and she tightened her grip on Psylocke. "We need to get out of here," she said, her voice low and urgent. "Now." Psylocke nodded, and together they backed away from Magik, their eyes never leaving her face. Magik's smile never wavered, but Psylocke could see the tension in her body, the coiled energy waiting to be unleashed. As they turned to leave, Psylocke caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of her eye. A figure stood in the shadows, watching them with an intensity that made Psylocke's skin crawl. She nudged Luna, and Luna followed her gaze. The figure stepped forward, its features illuminated by the dim light of the room. Psylocke's eyes widened as she recognized the newcomer - it was Sebastian, Magik's loyal servant. "Ah, Sebastian," Magik said, her voice dripping with amusement. "I see you're still loyal. I appreciate that." Sebastian's eyes flicked to Magik, and for a moment, Psylocke thought she saw a glimmer of unease. But then his expression smoothed out, and he bowed his head. "My lady," he said, his voice low and gravelly. Luna's grip on Psylocke tightened. "I don't trust him," she whispered. Psylocke nodded, her eyes never leaving Sebastian's face. She could sense the tension in his body, the hidden agenda that lay behind his polite smile. As they stood there, frozen in a silent standoff, Psylocke realized that they were caught in a web of intrigue, with Magik and Sebastian pulling the strings from behind the scenes. She knew that they had to be careful, that one wrong move could spell disaster. But as she looked at Luna, she saw a determination burning in her eyes, a fierce resolve that made Psylocke's heart swell with pride. Luna was not one to back down from a fight, and Psylocke knew that she would do whatever it took to protect her. Together, they took a step forward, their eyes locked on Sebastian. "We're leaving," Luna said, her voice firm. "And we're not coming back." Sebastian's expression didn't change, but Psylocke could sense the ripple of tension that ran through his body. She knew that they had just made a powerful enemy, and that their lives would never be the same again.
