**Chapter 1: Deception by the Poolside**

Part 1

The warm sun beat down on Sabrina Carpenter's luxurious backyard, casting a golden glow over the lush greenery and the sparkling pool. Nick Robinson and Maya Hart, two of Sabrina's closest friends, found themselves alone by the poolside, the sound of Sabrina's car fading into the distance as she drove off to grab some groceries. Maya, with her long blonde hair cascading down her back and her piercing blue eyes sparkling in the sunlight, couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest as Nick's gaze lingered on her. Nick, with his chiseled features and brown eyes that seemed to see right through her, had been acting strange around her lately, and Maya couldn't help but wonder what was on his mind. As they stood there, the tension between them became palpable. Maya, wearing a tiny black bikini, felt a bead of sweat trickle down her forehead, and she wiped it away with the back of her hand, her eyes never leaving Nick's. Nick, his brown hair messy from the sea breeze, was shirtless, his muscles rippling beneath his skin as he moved. Without a word, Nick reached out and pulled Maya into the cool water, and they both dove beneath the surface, their laughter echoing through the backyard. As they swam, their bodies inevitably touched, and the spark between them ignited into a flame. Their lips met in a passionate kiss, and they wrapped their arms around each other, their naked bodies entwined as they floated in the pool. Just as things were getting heated, they heard the sound of Sabrina's car pulling back into the driveway. In a panic, Nick and Maya quickly broke apart, trying to compose themselves as they looked around frantically. But it was too late. Sabrina was already walking towards the pool, a look of shock and disappointment on her face as she took in the scene before her. Sabrina's eyes widened as she took in Maya and Nick's naked bodies, their skin glistening with water droplets. She felt a pang of hurt and betrayal, but before she could say a word, Nick quickly swam away, his eyes avoiding hers. The rest of the day was awkward, with Nick avoiding Maya and Sabrina trying to process what she had just seen. As the sun began to set, Maya found herself alone in her room, her mind reeling with thoughts of Nick and Sabrina. Maya's thoughts drifted to her past, to the times she had self-harmed, to the scars on her wrists that she had kept hidden for so long. She had thought she was over those days, but the pain and guilt she felt now brought it all flooding back. As she sat on her bed, tears streaming down her face, she heard a knock on the door. It was Sabrina, her long blonde hair tied up in a ponytail, her blue eyes filled with concern. "Maya, what's wrong?" Sabrina asked, as she wrapped her arms around Maya. Maya broke down in sobs, her body shaking with emotion. "I'm so sorry, Sabrina. I don't know what happened. I feel like I've ruined everything." Sabrina held her close, whispering words of comfort in her ear. "You haven't ruined anything, Maya. I love you, and I know we can work through this. But we need to talk to Nick, and we need to figure out what we want." As they hugged, Nick walked into the room, his eyes avoiding Maya's. "I'm sorry, guys. I don't know what to say." Maya looked up at Sabrina, and then at Nick. She knew that their relationship was about to get a lot more complicated. As they navigated this new dynamic, Sabrina revealed that she had been open to exploring a polygamous relationship with both Maya and Nick. The three of them sat together, discussing the boundaries and expectations of their relationship. Maya felt a sense of relief wash over her as she looked at Sabrina and Nick. She knew that their journey wouldn't be easy, but with Sabrina by her side, she felt like she could face anything. And as they sat there, hands entwined, Maya knew that their love story was only just beginning.
