"A Moment of Solace"

Part 6

As the tension in the room became unbearable, Kenzy abruptly stood up, her chair scraping against the floor. Without a word, she turned and walked out of the room, leaving the King, Erwin, and Levi staring after her. Levi hesitated for a moment, his eyes flicking to the King, who nodded slightly. With a quiet understanding, Levi got up and followed Kenzy out of the room. The hallway was empty and quiet, the only sound the soft echo of their footsteps. Levi quickened his pace, catching up to Kenzy as she turned a corner. "Kenzy, wait," he said, his voice low. Kenzy stopped in front of a door and turned to face him. "What do you want, Levi?" she asked, her voice still laced with frustration. Levi's eyes locked onto hers, his expression softening. "I want to talk to you," he said, his voice gentle. Kenzy sighed, her shoulders sagging slightly. She pushed open the door to her room and stepped inside, with Levi following closely behind. She closed the door behind her, the sound echoing through the room. Levi walked over to her and sat down next to her on the bed. The room was quiet, the only sound the heavy breathing of the two people present. Levi turned to Kenzy, his eyes locked onto hers. "You know, I would really like marrying you," he said, his voice low and sincere. Kenzy's eyes widened in surprise, her face flushing slightly. "W-what?" she stuttered. Levi's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. "I would love to have a beautiful wife, and she's kind, funny, strong, and perfect," he said, his voice filled with emotion. Kenzy's face twisted in embarrassment. "I have flaws," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Levi's eyes locked onto hers, his expression intense. "Where exactly?" he asked, his voice low. Kenzy's eyes dropped, her voice barely audible. "Everywhere. You just don't see it." Levi's face softened, his eyes filled with understanding. He reached out and gently lifted Kenzy's chin, his eyes locking onto hers. "I see you, Kenzy," he said, his voice low. "I see the beauty and the flaws, and I love it all." Kenzy's heart skipped a beat as she looked into Levi's eyes. She felt a flutter in her chest, her voice barely above a whisper. "I would really like marrying you too," she said, her face flushing slightly. "You're strong, handsome, but I didn't want to seem like a girl who just falls in love so fast." Levi's face broke into a gentle smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners. He leaned in, his voice low. "You don't seem like that to me, Kenzy," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "You seem like a strong, beautiful woman who knows what she wants."
