**Chapter 3: Bound and Helpless**
Part 3
Cassidy's struggles finally began to subside as she realized she was getting nowhere. She lay panting, her body aching, and her eyes fixed on Gojo's. "What do you plan to do to me?" she asked, her voice shaking slightly. Gojo's expression didn't change, but his eyes seemed to gleam with a hint of curiosity. "I was supposed to bring you to my bosses," he said, his voice low and even. "They've been searching for you for a while now." Cassidy's heart sank at his words. She had a feeling she wouldn't like what happened to her if she was turned over to his bosses. But before she could respond, Gojo continued. "However, when I saw you...I have to admit, I was surprised." His eyes roved over her face, taking in her features. "You look...so human." Cassidy's gaze dropped, and she realized that her long brown hair had been bunched up under her back, pulled out of the way by the pins that held her down. Gojo's eyes seemed to linger on her hair, and then he reached out to gently lift her head up. "Let's get this hair out of the way," he said, his fingers deftly removing the pins that held her hair in place. As he lifted her head, her long brown locks cascaded down her back, extending halfway down her back as she had expected. Gojo's eyes flicked over her hair, and then he began to gently brush it out of the way, tucking it behind her shoulders. With her hair out of the way, Gojo turned his attention back to her chest. Cassidy winced as he picked up the medical tools again, her anxiety spiking as she realized he was going to continue with the stitches. "I'm sorry," Gojo said, his voice a little softer than before. "I know this isn't pleasant. But it needs to be done." Cassidy gritted her teeth as Gojo began to work on her stitches, his hands moving with a precision that was both reassuring and unsettling. She couldn't help but wonder what his bosses wanted with her, and what would happen to her if she was turned over to them. The thought sent a shiver down her spine, and she knew she had to keep fighting, no matter what.
