Beyond the Spark

As the night wore on, the tension between David and Daisy continued to build, until it was almost palpable. They tried to ignore it, but it was like a persistent hum in the background, refusing to be silenced. They started to talk more intimately, sharing stories and secrets, their voices low and conspiratorial. David couldn't help but notice the way Daisy's eyes sparkled in the dim light, or the way her hair fell in soft waves down her back.
