**A Lifetime of Memories**

Part 8

Caleb gazed at his friends with a serious look on his face, his eyes shining with sincerity. "Guys, you know I'm gonna live here forever, right?" he said, his voice filled with emotion. "I mean, you guys took me in when I first arrived. And I'm never leaving this world or all of you. No matter what." The group exchanged surprised glances, and Luigi's face softened with a warm smile. "Caleb, we want you to stay," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "You're one of us now. We've grown to love you like family." Mario nodded in agreement, "Yeah, you're part of the team, Caleb. We've been through thick and thin together, and we're not letting you go now." Daisy's eyes welled up with tears, "I know I just met you, but I feel like I've known you forever, Caleb. You're an amazing person, and I couldn't imagine this world without you." Peach stepped forward, her expression filled with kindness. "Caleb, you deserve to be here with us. You've brought so much joy and light into our lives. We want you to stay and continue making memories with us." Toad, who had been quietly observing the conversation, piped up, "Yeah, Caleb! We're a team! A team doesn't leave each other behind!" The group laughed, and Caleb's face lit up with a bright smile. "Exactly!" he exclaimed. "We're a team, and I'm not going anywhere. I promise to always be here for you guys, no matter what adventures come our way." As they stood there, surrounded by the beauty of the garden and the magic of the stars, Caleb felt a deep sense of belonging. He knew that he had found his true home, not just a place to live, but a community that accepted him for who he was. The group shared a moment of silence, enjoying each other's company and the peacefulness of the night. Then, Luigi spoke up, "You know, Caleb, since you're going to live here forever, we should celebrate with a special feast!" The group cheered, and Mario exclaimed, "I'm in! Let's go get some food! I'm starving!" As they walked towards the castle, laughing and chatting, Caleb felt grateful for the friends who had become his family. He knew that he would always cherish this moment, and the many more to come, with the people he loved.
