A New Understanding

Part 13

Blitz's expression softened further as he looked at Vassago, seeing the genuine remorse in his eyes. He took a deep breath, trying to process everything that had just happened, and the emotions that came with it. As he looked at Vassago, he realized that he wasn't angry, not really. He was confused, and a little hurt, but he wasn't angry. Vassago's words echoed in his mind: "I've wanted you for so long, and I just...I lost control." Blitz understood that desire, that overwhelming need that sometimes took over, and he knew that Vassago wasn't a bad person for acting on it. "Vassago," Blitz said, his voice gentle, "look at me." Vassago's eyes lifted, and he met Blitz's gaze, his eyes searching for forgiveness. "I'm not mad," Blitz said, his voice soft. "I'm...surprised, and a little hurt, but I'm not mad." Vassago's face relaxed, and he let out a sigh of relief. "I think we need to talk about this," Blitz continued, "but I also think that...well, we're boyfriends, aren't we?" Vassago's eyes locked onto Blitz's, and he nodded, a small smile on his face. "Then it's okay," Blitz said, his voice filled with conviction. "Either way, we're together, and that's what matters." Vassago's face lit up with a warm smile, and he leaned forward, his lips brushing against Blitz's in a gentle kiss. "I'm sorry again," Vassago whispered, his voice filled with emotion. Blitz smiled, his heart warming with love and understanding. "Don't be sorry," he said, his voice soft. "We're in this together, and we'll figure it out." As they kissed, Blitz felt a sense of peace wash over him, and he knew that their relationship was strong enough to withstand anything, even this unexpected development. He wrapped his arms around Vassago, holding him close as they both tried to make sense of what had just happened, and where they went from here.
