**The Unlikely Upset**

Part 231

As we walked back to school, Bakugo suddenly stopped and turned to me with a confident smirk on his face. "You think you're so tough, Vesper? Well, let's see how you do against me." I raised an eyebrow, feeling a surge of adrenaline at the challenge. "You want to spar with me, Bakugo?" Bakugo nodded, cracking his knuckles. "Yeah, I do. I'm gonna take you down and show you who's boss." The group of friends surrounding us began to take notice, their eyes fixed on us with interest. Ochaco, who had been walking alongside me, stepped forward. "Hey, guys, let's make it interesting. We'll set up a sparring match and see who comes out on top." The others nodded in agreement, and soon we had a makeshift arena set up in the school's courtyard. Bakugo and I faced off in the center, our eyes locked in a fierce stare. The match began, and Bakugo charged at me with his usual explosive speed and aggression. I dodged and weaved, using my agility and quick reflexes to evade his attacks. But Bakugo was relentless, pushing me to my limits as we clashed in a flurry of punches and kicks. To my surprise, I found myself holding my own against Bakugo's onslaught. I was able to anticipate his moves and counter with some impressive techniques of my own. The crowd watching us was on the edge of their seats, cheering and shouting as we battled it out. As the match raged on, I could feel my confidence growing. I was starting to gain the upper hand, and Bakugo was beginning to look frustrated. He snarled and gritted his teeth, unleashing a powerful explosion of speed and strength that sent me flying across the courtyard. But I was ready for him. I used my agility to quickly recover, and then launched a counterattack that caught Bakugo off guard. He stumbled backward, his eyes widening in surprise as I landed a series of swift and precise strikes. The final blow came when I delivered a perfectly aimed kick that sent Bakugo crashing to the ground. The courtyard fell silent, with all eyes fixed on Bakugo's stunned expression. The group erupted into cheers and applause, shocked and amazed by my unexpected victory. Deku's eyes were wide with surprise, while Todoroki nodded in approval. Kirishima was grinning from ear to ear, and even Osby looked impressed. Bakugo, however, was not pleased. He glared up at me, his face twisted in a scowl. "You got lucky, Vesper," he growled. "Rematch." I just smiled, feeling proud and exhilarated by my surprise win. "Anytime, Bakugo. I'm always up for a challenge."
