**Chapter 10: Uninvited Guest**

Part 10

I quickly went down the hallway, trying to shake off the lingering feeling of unease that Adrian's intense gaze had left me with. I grabbed a pair of dry clothes that were comfortable and made my way to the bathroom to change. As I shut the door behind me, I let out a sigh of relief, finally feeling like I could relax and process everything that had just happened. I quickly changed into the dry clothes, feeling a sense of normalcy wash over me as the soft fabric hugged my skin. I took a few deep breaths, trying to calm my racing heart and clear my head. I had thought that getting out of those wet clothes and into something dry would help me feel better, but as I looked at myself in the mirror, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. As I finished up in the bathroom, I made my way back to my bedroom, expecting to be alone. But as I pushed open the door, I was startled to see Adrian standing in the middle of my room, looking around at the decorations with interest. My heart skipped a beat as I took in the scene. Adrian was standing in my bedroom, surrounded by my personal belongings and mementos. I couldn't believe it - not only was he inside my house, but he was also inside my bedroom. How did he even get in here? Adrian turned to face me, a look of curiosity on his face. "Your room is really cozy," he said, his eyes scanning the space as if taking in every detail. I felt a surge of discomfort and annoyance. "What are you doing here?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady. Adrian shrugged, his eyes never leaving mine. "I followed you," he said, his voice nonchalant. "I wanted to make sure you were really okay." I took a step back, feeling a sense of unease wash over me. "You can't just follow me into my house and into my bedroom," I said, trying to keep my voice firm. Adrian raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement playing on his lips. "I didn't think you'd mind," he said, his voice low and smooth. I felt a flush rise to my cheeks as I realized that Adrian was standing in my bedroom, surrounded by my personal belongings, and he was acting like it was no big deal. I didn't know what to say or do, and I felt a sense of vulnerability wash over me. "Adrian, you need to leave," I said, trying to keep my voice firm. But Adrian just smiled, his eyes glinting with mischief, and took another step closer to me. "Not yet," he said, his voice low and husky. "I'm just getting started."
