**Chapter 4: The News of Arendelle**

Part 4

As Iduna sat by the fire, sipping a warm cup of tea, Elara began to tell her about the world beyond their small village. Iduna's eyes widened with interest as Elara spoke of kingdoms and cities, of trade and politics. But then, Elara mentioned a name that made Iduna's heart skip a beat: Arendelle. "Arendelle?" Iduna repeated, her voice barely above a whisper. "What's happened in Arendelle?" Elara's expression turned somber. "It's been many years since your...since the accident," she said gently. "Your daughter, Elsa, has taken the throne. She's a wise and just ruler, from what I've heard." Iduna's eyes filled with tears as she processed the news. Elsa, her little snow child, was now the queen of Arendelle. She felt a mix of emotions: pride, joy, and a deep sadness. She had missed so much of her daughter's life, and the thought of being separated from her for so long was almost too much to bear. Elara continued, "Elsa's coronation was a grand affair, with many dignitaries in attendance. She's been working hard to maintain peace and prosperity in the kingdom, and from what I've heard, she's done a remarkable job." Iduna listened intently, eager to hear more about her daughter's reign. She asked Elara questions about Elsa's life, her friends, and her challenges. As they talked, Iduna felt a sense of connection to her daughter that she hadn't felt in years. As the night wore on, Iduna learned more about the world beyond their village. She heard about the goings-on in other kingdoms, about wars and alliances, and about the changing tides of power. But her mind kept wandering back to Arendelle, to Elsa, and to the life she had left behind. Elara noticed Iduna's distant expression and placed a gentle hand on her arm. "You're welcome to stay here as long as you need," she said softly. "But if you're thinking of returning to Arendelle, I can help you. I have connections in the kingdom, and I can help you find a way back home." Iduna's heart leapt with hope. Could it be true? Could she really find a way back to her daughter, to her kingdom, and to her old life? She looked at Elara, her eyes shining with tears. "Thank you," Iduna said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Thank you for telling me about Arendelle. And thank you for offering to help me get back home." Elara smiled, her eyes warm with kindness. "You're not alone anymore," she said softly. "We'll get you back to Arendelle, and you'll be reunited with your daughter. I promise." As Iduna drifted off to sleep that night, she felt a sense of hope that she hadn't felt in years. She knew that the road ahead would be long and difficult, but with Elara's help, she felt like she could face anything. She was going back to Arendelle, and she was going to be reunited with her daughter. And that thought alone was enough to make her heart sing.
