Chapter 3: "The Dragon's Roar"
Part 3
The Dragon's Roar As we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, Hange's eyes gleaming with adoration, I noticed a subtle change in his demeanor. His body tensed, his muscles rippling beneath his skin, and a low, rumbling sound emanated from deep within his chest. It was a deep, soft guttural growl, like the purring of a contented beast. "Grrr... grrr..." he muttered, his voice low and husky, his eyes never leaving mine. I felt a shiver run down my spine as he spoke in his native language, the dragon language that only I could understand. "Khael'Shak korvu nakhte," he said, his words flowing like a river of fire. I smiled, my heart racing with excitement, as I replied in the same language, "Korvu nakhte, Khael'Shak." I could see the understanding in his eyes, and I knew that he was pleased that I could communicate with him in his own tongue. Hange's growl deepened, his chest vibrating with the sound, and he pulled me closer, his arms wrapping around me like a vice. "Nakhte sha'ril," he whispered, his breath hot against my skin. I felt a surge of love and adoration for him, and I knew that I would do anything to make him happy. "Sha'ril korvu," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. As we stood there, lost in our own little world of dragon language and tender affection, I knew that our love was something special, something that transcended human boundaries and spoke to a deeper, more primal part of our souls. Hange's eyes locked onto mine, and I could see the fire burning within them, a flame that seemed to grow brighter with every passing moment. I knew that I was his, body and soul, and that he would do anything to protect me, to keep me safe. And as we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, I knew that nothing could ever come between us, that our love would conquer all, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
