**Chapter 5: Discovery**

Part 5

The sound of footsteps echoed through the empty halls of Arendelle Castle, growing louder with each passing moment. Elsa and Anna, the two princesses, walked side by side, their laughter and chatter filling the space. As they turned a corner, they noticed a young boy sitting on a bench, his eyes fixed on the floor. He had auburn hair that fell across his forehead in messy strands, and his shoulders slumped in defeat. Elsa, being the more cautious of the two, approached the boy slowly. "Hello," she said, trying to sound friendly. "What are you doing here?" The boy looked up, startled, and introduced himself. "I'm Hans," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm the youngest son of King Westergaard." Anna's eyes widened in surprise. "King Westergaard?" she repeated. "But you're not with the diplomatic entourage. How did you end up here?" Hans's eyes dropped, and he mumbled something about being left behind. Elsa and Anna exchanged a concerned glance, sensing that something was wrong. They asked Hans to join them, and he followed them to the throne room, where Queen Iduna was waiting. Iduna's eyes widened as she saw Hans, and she rose from her throne, concern etched on her face. "Hans, what are you doing here?" she asked gently. Hans explained how he had been left behind, and Iduna's heart went out to him. She could see the pain and fear in his eyes, and she knew that she had to help him. Iduna's brown hair, styled in a coronet braid, seemed to shimmer in the light as she moved. As Hans spoke, Iduna noticed that he seemed nervous and fidgety, glancing around the room as if he expected to be scolded or punished. She made a mental note to talk to him more and find out what was wrong. Elsa and Anna stood by Iduna's side, curious about the young prince and his story. They had never met anyone from the Southern Isles before, and they were eager to learn more about Hans's life and his family. Iduna smiled warmly at Hans. "You are welcome here, Hans," she said. "You can stay with us until we figure out what to do next." Hans's eyes lit up with gratitude, and he nodded, his voice barely above a whisper. "Thank you, Your Majesty," he said. As Iduna began to make arrangements for Hans to stay in the castle, she couldn't help but notice the signs of weariness and sadness etched on his face. She made a mental note to talk to her daughters about Hans's situation and to find out more about his life with King Westergaard. Little did Iduna know that Hans's arrival in Arendelle Castle would set off a chain of events that would change their lives forever. As she looked at Hans, she saw a glimmer of hope, a chance to make a difference in the life of a young prince who had been hurt and neglected. Iduna's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of her daughters' voices, calling out to her as they left the throne room. "Mother, we'll show Hans to his rooms," Elsa said. Iduna smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She knew that her daughters would take good care of Hans, and she was grateful for their kindness and compassion. As the three of them walked out of the throne room, Iduna couldn't help but feel a sense of hope and renewal. She knew that the road ahead would be challenging, but she was determined to help Hans heal and find happiness in his new life.
