Desperate Measures

Part 2

With a surge of adrenaline, Maya gripped the soap tightly and hurled it at the stranger, aiming for his face. He swatted it aside with ease, his eyes never leaving hers. The soap splattered against the wall, leaving a smudge of soap suds on his cheek. Maya didn't hesitate; she lunged at him, her wet body slippery, but she managed to land a few blows before he grabbed her wrists. He pinned her against the wall, his grip like a vice. Maya struggled and kicked, but he was too strong. She tried to appeal to whatever humanity was left in him, "Please, let me go. I won't call the police, I promise." Her voice cracked as she spoke, but he just laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. The stranger's eyes seemed to gleam with excitement as he subdued her. He pressed her against the wall, his body flush against hers, making her skin crawl. Maya felt a wave of despair wash over her as she realized she was no match for him. He slowly turned her around, and with a swift motion, he grabbed her hair, yanking her head back. As she cried out in pain, he dragged her out of the bathroom, her feet slipping on the wet floor. She tried to dig her heels into the ground, but he was too strong. He pulled her down the hallway, her body stumbling along behind him. Maya's mind was racing, thinking of any possible way to escape, but her options seemed limited. The stranger finally stopped in front of her bedroom door, and with a shove, he pushed her inside. Maya stumbled forward, her body crashing onto the bed. The stranger quickly followed, pinning her down beneath him. Maya's heart was racing, her breath coming in short gasps as she realized she was trapped. The stranger's face loomed over hers, his eyes burning with an unnatural hunger. Maya tried to fight back, but it was no use. She was at his mercy, and she knew it. With a sense of hopelessness, she closed her eyes, bracing herself for the worst. The stranger's hot breath on her skin sent shivers down her spine, and she knew she was in grave danger. Maya's thoughts drifted to her family, her friends, and her life before this nightmare. She wondered if she would ever see them again or if she would be able to escape this situation. The stranger's movements became more agitated, and Maya steeled herself for what was to come. Her eyes remained closed, and she waited for the inevitable.
