"Midnight Confessions on the Beach"
Part 58
As the stars twinkled above, Nene found herself sitting on a hill on the beach with Tsukada and Amane, the sound of the waves gently lapping at the shore creating a soothing background noise. The three of them chatted and laughed together, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the night. They talked about everything and nothing, their conversation flowing easily as they sat together under the starry sky. As they sat there, Amane suddenly turned to Nene with a curious expression. "Since you were asleep for so long.. what were you dreaming about?" He asked, his eyes sparkling with interest. Nene's face went blank, and she began to stutter. "Uh, I-I was dreaming about... um, unicorns!" She exclaimed, trying to sound as convincing as possible. Tsukada and Amane exchanged a skeptical glance, their eyes crinkling at the corners as they tried to stifle their laughter. "Unicorns, huh?" Amane repeated, his tone dubious. "That's... quite a unique dream." Nene continued to yap about her supposed dream, mentioning rainbows, castles, and all sorts of other nonsensical things. Tsukada and Amane listened attentively, their faces expressionless, but their eyes betraying their amusement. Amane leaned in, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Hey, you know that necklace you've been wanting.. I'll buy it if you tell the truth!" He said, Tsukada nodding in agreement. Nene's eyes widened at the mention of the necklace, and she hesitated for a moment. She had been wanting that necklace for a long time, and the thought of getting it was tempting. But she was also hesitant to reveal the truth about her dream. Tsukada chimed in, his voice low and soothing. "I think we've seen a lot in our lifetime. You can trust us." Nene took a deep breath, her heart racing with anticipation. "If I tell you... you can't be weirded out, okay?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Amane and Tsukada exchanged a glance, and then Amane nodded. "We promise. We'll try to be as non-judgmental as possible." Nene took another deep breath, her words tumbling out in a rush. "I-I had a dream about... about both of you," She said, her voice speeding up. "You were... um, doing stuff... and I was... uh, watching." The twins' faces remained expressionless, but their eyes sparkled with amusement. Nene continued to talk, her words pouring out in a rapid-fire sequence. "And then... and then you both... you know... and I was... uh, happy." As she finished speaking, Nene's face went bright red, and she looked down at her feet, mortified. The twins sat in silence for a moment, and then Amane spoke up. "Well, I think we can safely say that's the most... interesting dream we've ever heard," He said, a grin spreading across his face. Tsukada chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Yeah, and I think we can safely say that necklace is yours, Nene." Nene's face went from red to pale, and she looked up at the twins, her eyes wide with embarrassment. But as she saw the kindness and amusement in their eyes, she couldn't help but laugh, feeling a sense of relief wash over her.
