"Blissful Surrender"
Part 8
Blissful Surrender The kiss was still burning on Y/n's lips as Lelouch pulled back, his eyes searching hers for any sign of what she was thinking. Y/n's mind was reeling, her thoughts scattered and jumbled, but as she looked into Lelouch's eyes, she knew that she felt exactly the same way. She felt like she was home, like she had finally found the place where she belonged. Lelouch's fingers still tangled in her hair, he leaned in close, his lips brushing against her ear. "Y/n," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "I... I don't know what just happened." Y/n smiled, her heart still racing from the kiss. "I think you do," she teased, her voice barely above a whisper. Lelouch chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Maybe I do," he admitted, his fingers still stroking her hair. As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, Y/n knew that nothing would ever be the same again. She had taken a chance, and it had paid off in a way that she never could have imagined. The corridor around them began to come back into focus, and Y/n realized that they were standing in a rather compromising position. She laughed, feeling a flush rise to her cheeks. "I think we should get out of here," she suggested, her voice still husky from the kiss. Lelouch nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "Yeah," he agreed. "I think that's a good idea." Without another word, he took her hand, and they walked out of the corridor, into the night. They didn't say much, just enjoying the silence between them, the tension still humming in the air. As they walked, Y/n couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had no idea what the future held, but she knew that she was ready to face it, as long as Lelouch was by her side. They eventually found themselves at the river, sitting on a bench, watching the stars twinkling above. It was quiet and peaceful, and Y/n felt like she could finally breathe. Lelouch turned to her, his eyes searching hers. "Y/n," he said, his voice low and serious. "I need to tell you something." Y/n's heart skipped a beat as she looked at him, her mind racing with possibilities. What could he possibly want to tell her? She leaned in close, her heart pounding in her chest. "What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Lelouch took a deep breath, his eyes locked on hers. "I have a secret," he said, his voice low and mysterious. "Something that could change everything between us." Y/n's heart skipped another beat as she looked at him, her mind racing with possibilities. What could he possibly have to tell her? And how would it change everything between them?
