**Chapter 1: Inferno of Desire**

Part 1

The sun had long since set on the quiet streets of Musutafu, casting a warm orange glow over the sleepy town. Katsuki Bakugo, the explosive and fiery young hero-in-training, was pacing back and forth in front of the small apartment he shared with his classmate, Izuku Midoriya. His restless energy was palpable, and his eyes seemed to burn with an inner fire that threatened to consume him whole. As he walked, Bakugo's mind wandered back to the events of the day. He and Deku had been on a mission with their classmates to take down a group of rogue villains, and it had been a long and grueling battle. But it wasn't the fight that had left him feeling so...on edge. It was the proximity to Deku, the soft-spoken and gentle soul who had been his rival and friend for so long. Bakugo's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the apartment door opening, and Deku's cheerful voice calling out as he entered. "Hey, Kacchan! I'm home!" Bakugo's eyes snapped towards the door, his heart skipping a beat as he caught sight of Deku's messy black hair and bright green eyes. He felt a surge of...something. Desire, maybe? Frustration? He didn't quite know, but he knew he needed to get a grip. Deku seemed oblivious to the tension in the air, sauntering into the living room with a carefree smile on his face. "I picked up some groceries on the way home. Want to help me put them away?" Bakugo's response was gruff, his voice low and rough. "Just leave them, Deku. I'll do it." Deku raised an eyebrow, but didn't seem to notice the underlying irritation. "Okay, Kacchan. You seem a bit...testy. Everything okay?" Bakugo's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in frustration. "Everything's fine, Deku. Just leave me alone." The air between them seemed to vibrate with tension, and for a moment, it seemed like Deku might actually pick up on Bakugo's mood. But then, his face smoothed out into a calm, concerned expression. "Alright, Kacchan. If you're sure you're okay..." Bakugo's response was cut off as Deku moved closer, his eyes locked on Bakugo's face. Bakugo felt his heart racing, his skin prickling with awareness. He knew he needed to push Deku away, to create some distance between them before things got out of hand. But as Deku's gaze met his, Bakugo felt himself getting lost in those soft, green eyes. He was trapped, unable to look away as Deku's face drew closer, his lips parting slightly... And then, everything seemed to explode.
