The rest of Lexi's day flew by in a blur as she couldn't help but think about Julian Blackwood. "Not at all," she said, trying to sound casual. "What brings you here?" Julian walked towards her, his eyes locked on hers. "I was thinking about our conversation earlier, and I realized I didn't even ask for your number," he said. "I'd love to take you out for coffee sometime. Maybe we could discuss something I'm working on?" Lexi was taken aback by the invitation, but a part of her was excited at the prospect of spending more time with Julian. "I'd like that," she said, trying to sound nonchalant. As they exchanged numbers, Lexi couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had a feeling that this was just the beginning of a whirlwind adventure. Over the next few days, Lexi and Julian texted back and forth, making plans for their coffee date.
