"Escalation of Chaos"
Part 6
Over the next few days, Link's encounters with Bigfoot became increasingly aggressive. Every time Bigfoot showed up, Link would charge at him, roaring and waving his arms. Bigfoot, trying to avoid confrontation, would retreat into the woods, but Link's behavior only grew more erratic. He would yell at Bigfoot, vocalizing loudly, and his body language screamed of hostility. Harry and Emily watched in concern as Link's behavior towards Bigfoot escalated. Harry seemed to be enjoying the show, a satisfied smirk on his face every time Link chased Bigfoot away. But Emily was worried. She didn't think it was healthy for Link to be so aggressive, and she didn't understand why Harry seemed to be encouraging it. One day, Link's aggression towards Bigfoot reached a boiling point. Bigfoot, trying to make amends, approached Link with a friendly smile, but Link was having none of it. With a loud roar, he attacked Bigfoot, tackling him to the ground and pinning him down. Bigfoot let out a pained yelp as Link yelled at him, his face red with anger. Harry and Emily rushed to intervene, pulling Link off Bigfoot and scolding him for his behavior. But instead of calming down, Link became inconsolable. He realized that he had hurt Bigfoot, and the guilt and shame overwhelmed him. He began to sob, his body shaking with convulsive sobs. Emily tried to comfort him, but Link pushed her away. "Me no mean to hurt Bigfoot! Me just wanna make Harr happy!" he exclaimed, his voice cracking with despair. Harry's expression changed from satisfaction to concern, and for a moment, he looked at Link with empathy. But then, his mask slipped back into place, and he turned to Emily, his voice cold. "You don't understand, Emily. Bigfoot is a menace. He's been terrorizing this town for years. Link is just standing up for himself." Emily's eyes flashed with anger. "That's not what I want, Harry. I don't want Link to be aggressive and hurt his friends. I thought we were trying to help Link, not encourage his bad behavior." The argument between Harry and Emily escalated, with Link's sobs growing louder in the background. Bigfoot, still dazed from the attack, stumbled away, watching the scene with a mixture of sadness and concern. As the fight between Harry and Emily reached a fever pitch, Link's sobs grew quieter, replaced by a sense of despair. He realized that he had lost sight of what was important - being kind to his friends, not just trying to make Harry happy. He looked up at Harry and Emily, his eyes filled with tears, and whispered, "Me just wanna be friends... Me no wanna hurt anyone..." But his words were drowned out by the argument, and he was left alone, feeling lost and scared.
