"Morning After"
Part 5
Morning After Weiss's eyes fluttered open, her gaze met with the warm, golden light of dawn streaming through the windows. She was disoriented for a moment, her mind foggy as she tried to recall how she ended up in this bed. As her memories began to resurface, her body tensed, her face heating up with a mix of embarrassment and unease. She was in Eli's arms, his chest rising and falling with each gentle breath. His hand rested on her stomach, his fingers splayed across her skin. She could feel his warmth radiating from his body, his gentle pulse beating against her side. Weiss tried to move, to create some distance between them, but Eli's grip tightened, holding her in place. She let out a soft sigh and relaxed, unsure of what to do next. As she lay there, she couldn't help but replay the events of the previous night. The intensity, the passion, and the raw power that Eli had unleashed upon her. Her body still hummed with aftershocks, her skin sensitive to the touch. Weiss turned her head, gazing up at Eli's face. His features were soft and relaxed in sleep, his eyes hidden behind closed lids. For a moment, she just stared, taking in the gentle curve of his lips, the sharp angle of his cheekbones, and the dark stubble that covered his jaw. A pang of uncertainty struck her chest. What did last night mean? Was it just a moment of passion, or was there something more to it? As she pondered these questions, Eli's eyes flickered open, his gaze locking onto hers. A slow smile spread across his face, and he reached up to brush a strand of hair behind her ear. "Good morning," he whispered, his voice husky from sleep. Weiss's heart skipped a beat as she met his gaze, unsure of how to respond. "Good morning," she replied finally, her voice barely above a whisper. Eli's smile grew wider, and he pulled her closer, his body wrapping around hers like a warm blanket. "How are you feeling?" he asked, his breath tickling her ear. Weiss hesitated, unsure of how to answer. Her body ached in some places, but it was a pleasant ache, a reminder of the passion they had shared. "I'm... okay," she said finally, her voice muffled against his chest. Eli's arms tightened around her, holding her close. "I'm sorry," he whispered, his voice filled with a deep emotion. "I didn't mean to hurt you." Weiss's heart swelled, and she looked up at him, her eyes searching his face. "You didn't hurt me," she said softly, her voice filled with conviction. "You just... took me to a place I've never been before." Eli's eyes locked onto hers, a deep understanding passing between them. "I'll take you there again," he promised, his voice low and husky. "If you want me to." Weiss's heart skipped a beat as she met his gaze, unsure of what the future held, but certain that she was ready to take the next step, as long as Eli was by her side.
