Chapter 3: "Tickled and Tempted"
Part 2
A few months had passed since that fateful day in the auditorium, and my life had changed in ways I never could have imagined. I was now heavily pregnant, my belly round and full of life. Blaine and I were still going strong, and he had been a rock for me throughout this entire ordeal. As I sat on the couch, rubbing my back against the cushions, Blaine walked into the room, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Hey, love," he said, plopping down beside me. "How's my little miracle growing in there?" He placed a hand on my belly, and I could feel a spark of electricity run through me. I smiled, feeling a sense of love and adoration for this man. "It's growing fast," I replied, laughing. "And it's getting harder to move around." Blaine's eyes lit up with amusement. "Is that so?" he said, his fingers starting to dance across my belly. I gasped, feeling a ticklish sensation I hadn't experienced in months. "You're still ticklish, aren't you?" he teased, his fingers poking and prodding at my skin. I laughed, trying to squirm away from him. "Blaine, stop it," I said, holding my belly. "I'm pregnant, not defenseless." But Blaine just chuckled, his fingers continuing to tickle my skin. "You're not defenseless, you're just... rounded," he said, his eyes sparkling with amusement. I rolled my eyes, laughing. As he continued to tease me, I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and contentment. This was what I loved about Blaine - he could make me laugh, even on my worst days. And as I looked at him, I knew that I had to tell him the truth. I couldn't keep this secret inside anymore. "Blaine," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. He looked at me, his eyes questioning. "What is it, love?" he asked, his fingers still on my belly. I took a deep breath, my heart pounding in my chest. "I need to tell you something," I said, my voice trembling. Blaine's expression turned serious, and he leaned in close. "What is it?" he asked, his voice low and gentle. I looked at him, my eyes searching for reassurance. "I'm... I'm having a baby," I said, the words tumbling out of my mouth. The room fell silent, and for a moment, I thought I had made a mistake. But then, Blaine's face broke out into a wide smile, and he pulled me into his arms. "We're having a baby," he said, his voice full of excitement. "We're going to be parents." Tears of joy streamed down my face as I hugged him back, feeling a sense of relief and happiness wash over me. I knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in our lives, and I was grateful to have Blaine by my side.
