Beyond the Game
Part 39
The room was dimly lit, filled with the sounds of laughter and the clinking of alcohol as the girls settled into a circle on Ryujin’s bed. Yeji and Chaeryeong were on Yeji’s bed, their heads leaning together in quiet conversation, while Ryujin, Lia, and Yuna crowded around Ryujin’s bed, each holding a drink. The game of truth or dare was underway, and it had already gotten more daring than they expected. “Truth or dare, Ryujin?” Yuna asked, her voice low and playful, a mischievous smile on her face. Ryujin smirked, tilting her head back a little. “Dare,” she replied confidently, a challenge in her eyes. Lia grinned and leaned in, clearly having been planning her move for a while. “I dare you to…” she paused for dramatic effect, “… kiss Yeji for three seconds.” The room went quiet for a beat, all eyes flicking to Yeji. Yeji looked momentarily surprised but quickly masked it with a teasing grin. “You heard her,” Yeji said, standing up from her bed, her legs moving smoothly toward Ryujin’s. Ryujin’s heart skipped a beat, but she didn’t flinch. Instead, she straightened, waiting, her eyes locked on Yeji’s as she approached. As Yeji stood between her legs, Ryujin’s hands instinctively reached for her waist, pulling her in closer, their bodies brushing. “This is happening, huh?” Yeji whispered, her breath a soft tease. Ryujin chuckled softly. “Yeah, it’s just a dare,” she said, her voice low and steady, but her hands tightened slightly on Yeji’s waist as she pulled her in closer. Yeji leaned down, her lips hovering just above Ryujin’s. For a second, it felt almost like they’re holding their breath, the tension between them palpable. Then, without warning, their lips met, a slow, sweet kiss, lasting exactly three seconds, as the dare required. But as Ryujin pulled back, she didn’t release Yeji; instead, she pulled her back in with a more forceful tug, her lips meeting Yeji’s again, this time with undeniable intensity. The kiss isn’t just playful anymore—it’s deep, searching, almost desperate. Yeji’s hands found Ryujin’s shoulders, gripping them as the kiss lingered, a pulse of heat between them. The group watched, both surprised and amused, unsure how to react, but no one interrupted. The sound of their kiss, soft and heated, filled the air as Ryujin’s hands slid around Yeji’s waist, pulling her even closer. After a few moments, they pulled apart, both breathless. Ryujin’s eyes were dark with something unspoken, and Yeji’s lips were parted, slightly swollen from the kiss. “I guess that was more than just a dare,” Ryujin muttered with a smirk, her voice slightly husky. Yeji laughed softly, her face flushed, but she didn’t pull away from Ryujin’s touch. “Yeah… maybe just a little,” Yeji replied, her eyes meeting Ryujin’s with an intensity that wasn’t there before. The rest of the group was still silent, processing the sudden shift in the atmosphere. Lia and Yuna exchanged a glance, both clearly trying to contain their grins. “Well, that was unexpected,” Chaeryeong finally said, breaking the silence, her voice dripping with amusement. “I think it’s your turn now, Yeji.” Ryujin and Yeji shared a brief, knowing look before Yeji turned back to the group, shaking her head with a laugh. “Alright, alright,” she said, her voice playful again, “truth or dare?”
