Rush to the Hospital

Part 4

As the ambulance sped through the streets of New York City, sirens blaring, Crazy Harry lay on the stretcher, his eyes closed tightly, wincing in pain. The paramedics, Mark and Sarah, were busy checking his vitals and trying to get him comfortable. Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, and Gonzo were squeezed in around them, their faces etched with worry. Mark, one of the paramedics, looked up at Kermit. "We're going to try to help him with some medication for that migraine," he said. "It's a pretty bad one." He turned to Crazy Harry and gently administered an aspirin. Sarah started to explain to Crazy Harry what was happening, but he was already starting to drift off. The aspirin was working, and Crazy Harry's eyelids began to droop. His head lolled to one side, and he started to snore softly. The Muppets exchanged relieved glances, thinking that maybe the aspirin was going to be the solution to their problems. But as the minutes ticked by, they began to grow concerned. Crazy Harry was sleeping too soundly, and his breathing was getting shallower. The ambulance screeched to a halt outside the hospital, and the paramedics quickly sprang into action, rushing Crazy Harry inside. The Muppets followed close behind, their hearts still racing with worry. As they entered the emergency room, the doctors and nurses quickly assessed Crazy Harry's condition. One of the nurses, a kind-faced woman named Rachel, gently examined Crazy Harry, taking note of his vitals and checking his medication. "He's responding to the aspirin, but we need to keep an eye on him," she said to the doctor. Just as it seemed like Crazy Harry was going to be okay, he suddenly groaned and shifted uncomfortably. Rachel noticed the movement and quickly checked him. Her expression changed from calm to concerned. "We've got a problem here," she said to the doctor. Crazy Harry's face turned bright red as he became aware of his body's betrayal. "No...no...no!" he muttered, his eyes wide with embarrassment. The Muppets looked on in shock, unsure of what was happening. "Is he...?" Miss Piggy started to ask, her voice barely above a whisper. Rachel nodded discreetly. "I'm afraid he's experiencing some incontinence," she said. The Muppets quickly looked away, trying to give Crazy Harry some dignity. Gonzo stepped forward, trying to be supportive. "It's okay, Harry. We're here for you, no matter what." Crazy Harry's eyes locked on Gonzo's, filled with mortification. Kermit placed a reassuring hand on his friend's shoulder. "We're going to get through this, Harry. You're going to be okay." As the medical staff rushed to attend to Crazy Harry, the Muppets couldn't help but wonder what was happening to their friend. Was it the migraine, or was something more serious going on? They could only wait and hope that the doctors and nurses could find the answers and help Crazy Harry get better.
