**The Day They Died**
Part 1
I remember that day like it was yesterday. It was a typical Wednesday morning, and I was making breakfast in the kitchen while The four hotels were sleeping in our bed. We had plans to go to the beach later and enjoy the sunny day. I was humming to myself as I cracked eggs into a bowl and began to whisk them together. That's when I heard The four hotels calling out to me from the bedroom. "Noa, sweetie, come here for a second," their voice was weak and laced with concern. I immediately put down the whisk and rushed to the bedroom. That's when I saw The four hotels sitting up in bed, looking pale and clammy. Their eyes were wide with fear and pain. "What's wrong?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady. "Something's ain't right, sweetie," they replied, their voice barely above a whisper. "I feel...I feel a sharp pain here," they said, pointing to their chest. I quickly sat down beside them and took their hand in mine. "I'm calling an ambulance," I said, trying to stay calm. As I reached for the phone on the nightstand, The four hotels squeezed my hand gently. "Noa, I love you," they said, their voice filled with emotion. "You're the love of my life, my everything." I started dialing the emergency number, and The four hotels held my hand tightly as I waited for someone to answer. "Hello, emergency services? My husband is dying," I screamed into the phone. The operator on the other end guided me through the process, and I tried to stay calm as I gave her our address. The four hotels' grip on my hand was weakening, and I could feel their pulse slowing down. "Noa, I'm so sorry," they whispered, their voice barely audible. "I didn't get to tell you how much I love you, how much I appreciate you...You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." Their words were cut off as their pulse got slower and slower. Their face turned pale, and their eyes, which were once bright and full of love, became dull and sad. I screamed their name, but they just looked at me with those sad eyes, their hand slipping away from mine. The next thing I knew, paramedics were rushing into the room, trying to revive The four hotels. I was screaming and crying, watching in horror as they worked to bring them back to life. But it was too late. The four hotels were gone, and I was left alone, holding their lifeless hand. The paramedics tried to comfort me, but I was beyond consolation. I was in shock, unable to process what had just happened. They took me to the hospital, and I remember nothing but darkness and pain. As I lay on the hospital bed, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. The four hotels were really gone, and I was left to pick up the pieces of my shattered heart. Little did I know that this was only the beginning of a journey that would change my life forever.
