**Chapter 5: Training and Tension**

Part 5

The Avengers Compound was abuzz with activity as Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy began their training with the team. The two wizards were determined to prove themselves, but their opposing magical backgrounds and personalities quickly caused tension. Harry was paired with Black Widow for hand-to-hand combat training, and he was impressed by her skills and agility. She was a natural fighter, and he found himself struggling to keep up. However, with her guidance, he quickly improved, and they developed a strong working relationship. Meanwhile, Draco clashed with Thor, who was amused by the Slytherin's arrogance. "You think your magic can take down the God of Thunder?" Thor laughed, his hammer Mjolnir at the ready. Draco sneered, but Thor could see the faintest glimmer of uncertainty in his eyes. "I'll show you my power," Draco said, his wand at the ready. The air around him seemed to shimmer as he cast a spell, but Thor was unfazed. With a swift swing of his hammer, he deflected the magic, sending it back at Draco. The Slytherin stumbled backward, his eyes widening in surprise. "You may have magic, but I have the power of the gods on my side," Thor declared, his chest heaving with exertion. Harry watched the exchange with a mixture of amusement and concern. He knew that Draco's pride was wounded, and he wondered how the Slytherin would react. As the training session continued, Harry and Draco worked together on a series of magical exercises, their movements fluid and synchronized. They were an unlikely duo, but they were determined to prove themselves. However, their banter was laced with tension, and the air seemed to vibrate with unspoken rivalry. "You're not exactly the most skilled wizard, are you?" Draco sneered, his eyes glinting with challenge. Harry smiled wryly. "I think I can hold my own, Malfoy." Their instructor, Captain America, intervened, his voice calm and authoritative. "Let's focus on teamwork, guys. We need to work together to take down Thanos." As the training session drew to a close, Harry felt a sense of frustration. He and Draco were not exactly a cohesive unit, and he wondered if they would ever be able to work together seamlessly. But as they walked off the training area, Draco caught his eye, and for a moment, they just looked at each other. The tension between them was palpable, and Harry sensed a glimmer of attraction. He quickly looked away, his heart racing. He was not sure what to make of his feelings, but he knew that he had to focus on the task at hand. The Avengers were counting on them, and he was determined to prove himself. As they walked away from the training area, Black Widow approached them, her expression serious. "Guys, we need to talk about the mission ahead. We have reason to believe that Thanos is planning to attack a major city." Harry's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities. He and Draco exchanged a glance, and for a moment, they just looked at each other. Then, without a word, they nodded, their faces set with determination. They were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, together. The city lights twinkled in the distance as they walked toward the briefing room, the tension between them a reminder that their alliance was still fragile, but their determination to succeed was unshakeable.
