"A Chance Encounter"
Part 3
The memory of Lelouch's arms wrapped around her waist still lingered in Y/n's mind as she walked through the school grounds the next day. She couldn't help but feel a flutter in her chest whenever she thought of him. It was as if their accidental tumble to the ground had brought them closer together, and Y/n found herself wanting to spend more time with him. As she turned a corner, she spotted Lelouch sitting in the library, surrounded by stacks of books. She felt a surge of excitement and took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves. She had been thinking about asking him out on a date, and today seemed like the perfect opportunity. Y/n walked up to the library, her heart pounding in her chest. She pushed open the door and scanned the room, her eyes locking onto Lelouch's familiar figure. He looked up, sensing her presence, and their eyes met across the room. Y/n felt a blush rise to her cheeks as she walked towards him, her feet seeming to move of their own accord. "Lelouch," she said softly, trying to sound casual. He looked up at her, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Y/n. What brings you here?" Y/n took a deep breath, trying to gather her courage. "I was wondering if... you'd like to go on a date with me?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Lelouch's expression changed, his eyes narrowing slightly as he set his book aside. "A date?" he repeated, his voice low and husky. Y/n nodded, feeling her heart racing in her chest. "Yes. Just a casual walk around the school grounds or something. I thought it would be nice to get to know each other better." Lelouch's gaze seemed to bore into her soul, as if searching for something. For a moment, Y/n wondered if she had misread the situation entirely. But then, a small smile played on his lips, and he nodded. "I'd like that," he said, his voice low and smooth. Y/n's heart skipped a beat as she smiled, feeling a rush of excitement. "Really?" Lelouch nodded, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Really. When were you thinking?" Y/n thought for a moment, trying to come up with a plan. "How about today? After dinner?" Lelouch nodded, his smile growing wider. "Sounds perfect." As they made plans, Y/n couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. She had no idea what the date would bring, but she was eager to find out. As they parted ways, Y/n couldn't help but wonder what Lelouch was thinking. Was he genuinely interested in her, or was this just a friendly gesture? She pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on the excitement of the date ahead. The rest of the day flew by in a blur as Y/n found herself counting down the hours until their date. She spent hours getting ready, trying on different outfits and doing her hair. When dinner finally came around, she felt like a nervous wreck. But as she saw Lelouch waiting for her by the dormitory, her nerves began to dissipate. He looked handsome in a simple white shirt and black pants, his eyes sparkling with amusement as he took in her outfit. "Ready?" he asked, offering her his arm. Y/n nodded, feeling a flutter in her chest as she took his arm. Together, they walked out of the dormitory, into the unknown.
