Training Camp Turbulence
Part 2
The days passed, and before I knew it, a week had gone by since the incident with Shigaraki. Our class was bustling with excitement as we prepared for the upcoming training camp. Aizawa-sensei, our homeroom teacher, announced that we would be heading to a remote location for a week-long training exercise, where we would be taken care of by the Wild Wild Pussycats, a team of experienced heroes. As we boarded the buses, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. I was excited to spend time in the wilderness, away from the prying eyes of the villains, but I was also nervous about what lay ahead. The training camp was designed to test our skills, push us out of our comfort zones, and help us develop our Quirks. As we arrived at the campsite, I was struck by its beauty. The rolling hills, the dense forests, and the sparkling streams created a picturesque landscape. We were greeted by the Wild Wild Pussycats, a team of five heroes, each with their unique Quirk and personality. Tatsumi Fujinami, the leader of the team, welcomed us warmly. His Quirk, "Mr. Nice," allowed him to make anyone feel incredibly relaxed and at ease. I couldn't help but feel a sense of calm wash over me as he smiled at me. The other members of the Wild Wild Pussycats were just as intriguing. There was Kunieda, a skilled fighter with a Quirk that allowed her to control and manipulate her body density; Midoriya's idol, Midnight, a no-nonsense hero with a Quirk that enabled her to emit intense sonic waves; and the twins, Mash and Ashido's friend, who had Quirks that allowed them to transform into various animal forms. As we settled into our cabins, I noticed that Bakugo seemed particularly interested in the training camp. He was eager to show off his skills and prove himself as a top hero. I, on the other hand, was more concerned about staying safe and learning as much as I could. The first day of training was intense, with the Wild Wild Pussycats pushing us to our limits. We participated in various exercises, including combat drills, obstacle courses, and strategy sessions. I was surprised by how well I performed, thanks in part to Osby's guidance and my own martial arts skills. As night began to fall, we gathered around the campfire, swapping stories and getting to know each other better. Deku and Ochaco were busy roasting marshmallows, while Todoroki and Mina sat together, quietly observing the flames. Bakugo, however, seemed to be growing restless. He excused himself, saying he needed to go for a walk. I decided to follow him, curious about what he might be thinking. As we walked deeper into the woods, the darkness seemed to grow thicker. I could sense that Bakugo was struggling with something, but I wasn't sure what. Suddenly, he stopped and turned to me, his eyes gleaming in the moonlight. "Vesper," he said, his voice low and husky. "I need to talk to you about something." My heart skipped a beat as I wondered what he might say. Was he going to confess his feelings, or was there something else on his mind? I leaned in, eager to hear what he had to say.
