**Chapter 5: The March to Wall Rose**

Part 5

As we marched towards Wall Rose, the weight of our mission settled heavily on our shoulders. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the landscape, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of foreboding that had been building up inside me. The air was thick with tension, and the silence between us was oppressive, punctuated only by the sound of our gear and the rustling of leaves beneath our feet. Hange walked at the front of our unit, his eyes fixed on some point in the distance. I fell into step beside him, my eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of movement. The terrain was rugged, with steep hills and dense forests that seemed to stretch on forever. I could feel the fatigue setting in, but I knew we couldn't afford to rest yet. As we walked, I couldn't help but think about the unknown dangers that lay ahead. What kind of Titans would we face? Would they be the mindless, lumbering creatures we were used to, or would they be more...coordinated, as Hange had suggested? The thought sent a shiver down my spine, and I found myself checking my gear for what felt like the hundredth time. The hours ticked by, and the sun dipped lower in the sky. We were making good time, but I knew we still had a long way to go before we reached Wall Rose. I glanced over at Hange, who was studying the map with an intensity that bordered on obsession. "What's your plan, Hange?" I asked, my voice low. He didn't look up, his eyes scanning the terrain with a practiced intensity. "We're going to need to move quickly and quietly," he said, his voice measured. "If the Titans are being coordinated, we don't know what kind of numbers we're facing. We need to be prepared for anything." I nodded, my mind racing with the implications. We had been trained for this, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that we were in over our heads. The Titans were unpredictable, and the thought of facing a coordinated attack was daunting, to say the least. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the landscape in a deep blue twilight, I saw a flicker of movement in the distance. I tensed, my hand on the hilt of my sword, but Hange raised a hand, his eyes narrowing. "Wait," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "Let's see what it is." We watched in silence as a figure emerged from the trees, its features indistinct in the fading light. As it drew closer, I saw that it was a young girl, her face dirty and her clothes torn. She looked up, her eyes locking onto Hange's, and I saw a flash of recognition. "It's Historia," she said, her voice trembling. "I've been sent to guide you to Wall Rose. The Scouts have received reports of a massive Titan force moving towards the wall." Hange's eyes narrowed, his expression grim. "Let's move," he said, his voice low. "We need to get to Wall Rose, now." With that, we set off at a faster pace, the young girl leading us through the treacherous terrain. I could feel the sense of urgency building up inside me, and I knew that we were running out of time. The fate of humanity hung in the balance, and I knew that we were about to face the fight of our lives.
