**Chapter 1: Shipwrecked**

Part 1

The storm raged around her, its fury unrelenting as the waves crashed against the fragile hull of her ship. Iduna, the queen of Arendelle, clung to the wooden railing, her brown braided hair whipping about her face like a flail. She had been on a diplomatic mission to the Southern Isles, seeking to strengthen the bonds of trade and friendship between their kingdoms, when the tempest had struck. The ship creaked and groaned, its timbers straining against the force of the gale. Iduna's knuckles were white as she gripped the railing, her eyes fixed on the horizon. She had always been a strong and capable person, but even she felt small and vulnerable against the might of the storm. And then, in an instant, everything changed. The ship lurched violently, throwing Iduna off balance. She felt herself tumbling through the air, her stomach lurching with the sensation of weightlessness. The world around her was a blur of water and wind, and then she was underwater, the icy cold liquid rushing past her like a thousand knives. Iduna's lungs burned, her chest aching with the pressure of the water. She struggled to swim to the surface, but her body felt heavy and unresponsive. She was vaguely aware of being tossed about by the waves, her head spinning with the motion. Finally, she broke through the surface, gasping for air as she was washed up onto a rocky shore. Iduna lay there, her body numb and exhausted, her mind foggy with the aftermath of the ordeal. She was vaguely aware of the sound of waves crashing against the shore, and the cry of seagulls wheeling overhead. As she slowly sat up, Iduna took stock of her surroundings. She was on a rocky beach, with steep cliffs rising up on either side of her. The air was cold and crisp, with a hint of salt and seaweed. She could see the wreckage of her ship scattered along the shore, a testament to the fury of the storm. Iduna's body ached all over, her head throbbing with a dull pain. She knew she had to find shelter and medical attention, but for now, she was trapped, alone and vulnerable on a foreign shore. She wrapped her arms around herself, her eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of rescue. But for now, she was truly alone. As she struggled to her feet, Iduna caught sight of a group of figures in the distance, their faces obscured by the mist. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come. She had faced many challenges in her life, and she was determined to face this one as well. With a newfound sense of resolve, Iduna began to walk towards the figures, her eyes fixed on the horizon, her heart full of hope and trepidation.
