"Shifting Tensions"
Part 134
The music continued to pulse through the room, still resonating from the dramatic revelation about Shinso's crush, and the party showed no signs of slowing down, but the atmosphere had thickened with tension, especially between Bakugo, Shinso, and me. Sera, seeming to sense that the spotlight was still on her, quickly turned her attention to Kristina, who was standing nearby, chatting with a group of friends. "Hey, Kristina, it's your turn," Sera said, a mischievous glint still in her eye. "Truth or dare?" Kristina turned to face Sera, a grin spreading across his face. "Dare," he said, a confident tone in his voice. Sera's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Okay, here's your dare: you have to sing a love song to the person you're least expecting," she said, her voice low and conspiratorial. The room seemed to fall silent, with all eyes on Kristina as he hesitated for a moment, a sly smile spreading across his face. Then, his eyes landed on Bakugo, who was still glaring at Shinso, and a chuckle escaped his lips. Kristina cleared his throat, and began to strum an imaginary guitar. "Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you... 'Ode to Bakugo'," he said, a dramatic flourish to his voice. The room erupted into laughter, and Bakugo's face turned bright red with embarrassment and annoyance. "Shut up, Kristina," he growled, trying to maintain his tough exterior. But Kristina was undeterred, launching into a ridiculous love song, complete with over-the-top lyrics and exaggerated gestures. The room was in stitches, and even Bakugo couldn't help but crack a smile, despite his best efforts to remain stoic. As Kristina continued to sing, I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all. The music and the drama were creating a potent mix, and I was eager to see what the rest of the night had in store. Shinso, still looking a bit flustered from his earlier confession, caught my eye and smiled, and I smiled back, feeling a sense of camaraderie with him. The game was clearly far from over, and I had a feeling that the night was going to get even more interesting. Sera, still grinning from ear to ear, raised her hands, and the music started up again, drawing everyone back into the party. But I knew that the undercurrents of tension and emotion were still simmering just below the surface, waiting to erupt again at any moment.
