**A Reflection**

Part 4

As Kim continued to observe her former friends, she started to reflect on her journey. She thought about the pain and heartache she endured after being abandoned, but also about how it led her to where she is today. She realized that she's grown and changed so much, and that she doesn't need their approval or friendship. Kim's mind wandered back to the days when she was part of the Power Rangers team. She remembered the thrill of saving the world from monsters and villains, but also the pressure and stress that came with it. She recalled the letter she wrote to Tommy, pouring her heart out to him, and how it ultimately led to her being ostracized by her friends. As she watched her former friends laughing and joking, Kim felt a sense of detachment. She was no longer a part of their world, and she didn't miss it. She had moved on to bigger and better things, and she was grateful for the experiences she had with Devil May Cry. Kim's thoughts turned to Dante, her husband and partner in demon-hunting. She thought about the adventures they had shared, the battles they had fought, and the laughter they had exchanged. She realized that she had found a true partner in him, someone who accepted her for who she was, and loved her unconditionally. She also thought about the people who had become her true friends and family - Lady, Trish, Morrison, Nero, and Kyrie. They had welcomed her into their world with open arms, and she had found a sense of belonging with them. They had seen her at her worst and at her best, and they still chose to stand by her side. As Kim reflected on her journey, she felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. She had come a long way from the insecure teenager she once was, and she was grateful for the experiences that had shaped her into the person she was today. Dante, sensing her introspection, placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "You okay?" he asked, his voice low and soothing. Kim nodded, smiling softly. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking about how far I've come." Dante smiled back, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You've come a long way, Kim. And I'm proud to be by your side." Kim felt a warmth spread through her chest, and she leaned into Dante's touch. She knew that she had found her true home, not just with Dante, but with the Devil May Cry crew. They had become her family, and she was grateful for their love and support. As they stood there, observing her former friends from afar, Kim felt a sense of closure. She had faced her past, and she had come out on top. She was no longer the Pink Ranger, desperate for approval and friendship. She was Kim, a demon-hunter, a wife, and a member of the Devil May Cry crew. And she was happy. With a newfound sense of confidence, Kim turned to Dante and smiled. "Let's go," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. Dante nodded, and together, they walked away, leaving her former friends and their petty dramas behind.
