**The Nightshade Debut**

Part 167

As I stood in front of the mirror, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and excitement as I gazed at my hero suit, Nightshade. I had spent all morning preparing for this moment, carefully crafting every detail to perfection. The sleek black and silver design seemed to shimmer in the light, and I couldn't wait to show it off to my friends. Before heading out, I decided to put on my hero suit, feeling a thrill of anticipation as I slipped into the familiar contours of the costume. The fabric seemed to mold to my body, and I felt a surge of confidence as I struck a pose in front of the mirror. As I emerged from my room, I was greeted by Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, Kirishima, and Kaminari, who were all waiting for me in the living room. Their eyes widened in unison as they took in my new hero suit, and I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my chest. "Wow, it looks great on you, Vesper!" Deku exclaimed, his eyes shining with admiration. Bakugo, Todoroki, Kirishima, and Kaminari all nodded in agreement, their faces breaking out into wide grins. "Yeah, you look cute!" Bakugo said, his voice teasing. Todoroki chuckled. "I think 'cute' might not be the right word, Bakugo," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners. Kirishima, however, was undeterred. "No, no, I think 'cute' is perfect!" he exclaimed, his face lighting up. Kaminari simply shook his head, laughing. "You guys are something else," he said, chuckling. I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through my chest. "Thank you," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. As we all headed out to catch the bus, I couldn't help but feel a mix of nerves and excitement. What lay ahead, I had no idea, but with my friends by my side and my new hero suit, I felt ready to take on whatever came next. As we loaded onto the bus, the seats were quickly filled with chatter and laughter. I found a seat next to Deku, with Bakugo and Todoroki across from us. Kirishima and Kaminari were busy making jokes and teasing each other, their usual antics providing a welcome distraction from my nervous energy. The bus rumbled to life, and we began our journey to... wherever we were going. I had no idea what the day had in store for us, but with my friends and my new hero suit, I was ready to face whatever challenges came our way.
