**Chapter 52: The Crush Confessional**

Mina's eyes sparkled with excitement as she stared at me, her mouth agape. "OMG WHAT!" she squealed, her voice piercing through the silent room like a shriek of delight. I felt my face burn with embarrassment as I slumped in my seat, my eyes welling up with tears. I just wanted to cry and disappear into thin air. I covered my face with my hands, feeling like I was going to die of mortification. The room seemed to spin around me, and I felt like I was going to pass out. Why had I blurted out all those names? Why had Mina put me on the spot like that? Just as I thought things couldn't get any worse, I heard Osby's voice echoing in my mind. "Someone has a lot of crushes," he said, his tone sounding almost... jealous? I felt a surge of surprise at his words, and my embarrassment turned to confusion. I peeked through my fingers to see Osby watching me with a curious expression, his eyes gleaming with amusement. I quickly looked away, feeling my face heat up even more. I didn't know what to say or do. I just wanted to hide and never come out. The room was still buzzing with whispers and snickers, and I could feel everyone's eyes on me. I just wanted to sink into my seat and disappear. Deku, Bakugo, and the others were all staring at me, their faces a mix of shock and amusement. Mina, on the other hand, was still squealing with excitement. "This is amazing!" she exclaimed, bouncing up and down in her seat. "Vesper, you're like a total crush machine!" I just wanted to die. Seriously, I did. I couldn't bear the thought of facing my classmates again, not after this. I slowly got up from my seat, my eyes fixed on the floor, and muttered, "I'm going to go get some air." As I walked out of the room, I could feel everyone's eyes on me, and I just knew that my life was about to get a lot more complicated.
