**Chapter 4: Job Hunting**

Part 4

Nigee's mind was still reeling from the anger management class debacle as he walked home, the warm sun on his face a stark contrast to the turmoil brewing inside him. The events of the day replayed in his mind like a broken record – the condescending instructor, the snapping at him, and the smashing of his fist on the table. He couldn't help but wonder if he was truly cut out for this whole anger management thing. As he approached his house, Nigee noticed a familiar figure standing by the mailbox, but he pushed the thought aside and continued walking. He needed to focus on finding a job to support himself. His mom was working hard to make ends meet, but he wanted to contribute too. The next day, Nigee set out to apply for jobs. He had updated his resume and was eager to land a position. After visiting several stores and restaurants, he finally got a call from the local convenience store, Quick Mart. They wanted him to come in for an interview. Nigee arrived at Quick Mart, dressed in his best attire. The store manager, a friendly woman named Mrs. Patel, greeted him warmly. The interview went smoothly, and Nigee left feeling hopeful. A few hours later, Mrs. Patel called to offer him the job. Nigee accepted, relieved that he had finally secured employment. He would be working the night shift, restocking shelves and managing the cash register. As he began his new job, Nigee struggled to adjust to the late hours and demanding customers. His anger issues continued to simmer, and he found himself snapping at coworkers and customers alike. He knew he needed to get his anger under control, not just for his own sake but also for his job. One evening, as Nigee was restocking shelves, a customer yelled at him for not having a particular product in stock. Nigee's temper flared, and he was about to lash out when he remembered his anger management classes. He took a deep breath and counted to ten, managing to keep his cool. The customer stormed out, and Nigee let out a sigh of relief. He was making progress, but he knew he still had a long way to go. As he clocked out and headed home, Nigee couldn't shake off the feeling that he was meant for more. Little did he know, his life was about to take a dramatic turn. As he walked home, Nigee received a call from an unknown number. He hesitated, wondering if he should answer it. His instincts told him to ignore it, but something compelled him to pick up. "Hello?" Nigee said, his voice cautious. There was a pause on the other end, and then a voice spoke, "Nigee, I need to talk to you about Sakiyah." Nigee's heart skipped a beat. "Who is this? What do you want with Sakiyah?" The voice laughed, "You'll find out soon enough. Just know that Sakiyah is mine now." The line went dead, and Nigee was left standing in the middle of the street, his mind reeling. He thought of Sakiyah, his ex-girlfriend, and the strange messages she had been receiving. He felt a surge of anger and determination. He was going to find out who had taken Sakiyah and bring her home. With a newfound sense of purpose, Nigee quickened his pace, his eyes scanning the street for any sign of trouble. He burst into his house, grabbed a piece of paper and pen, and began to write down everything he could remember about the mysterious phone call. He knew he had to act fast, but he also knew that he needed to be careful. He was in this for the long haul, and he was ready to do whatever it took to save Sakiyah.
