"A Chance Encounter"

Part 3

The door to the audition room swung open, and Yeji walked in, commanding attention with her confident stride. She wore a sleek black jumpsuit that accentuated her toned physique, exuding a strong and sexy vibe. Her hair flowed freely down her back, adding movement to her already captivating presence. The judges and trainees couldn't help but notice her, their reactions ranging from impressed gazes to quiet whispers. Judge 1, a middle-aged woman with a kind face, leaned over to Judge 2 and whispered, "Wow, she's got presence. Let's see how she performs." Judge 2, a tall, slender man with a serious expression, nodded in agreement, his eyes fixed on Yeji. The music started, a powerful hip-hop beat that seemed to match the intensity of Yeji's gaze. She began to dance, her movements sharp, controlled, and fierce, yet fluid and almost ethereal. As she performed, Yeji's confidence radiated from every step, every gesture, and every smile. She owned the room, and everyone in it knew it. Ryujin watched Yeji, her eyes wide with admiration and a flutter of memory. She couldn't help but think back to their hookup the night before, the way Yeji's moans had sounded in her ear, the way she had tasted, and the way Ryujin had felt - so wet, so alive. Ryujin's internal monologue was a jumble of excitement and surprise: "What is she doing here? And damn, she's so good... I want her again." As Yeji finished her routine, she posed strong, her eyes intense, and her breath steady. The room applauded politely but clearly impressed, the judges taking notes and nodding approvingly. Judge 1 said, "Great performance, Yeji. You've got a lot of charisma on stage." Judge 2 added, "We're looking for someone with a strong stage presence, and you definitely have that." Yeji glanced toward Ryujin briefly, a subtle smile playing on her lips. Ryujin caught the glance and felt something - curiosity, excitement, confusion. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she knew that her feelings for Yeji went beyond a simple hookup. After the auditions, Yeji and Ryujin found themselves backstage together, waiting for results. The conversation was light but charged with a little awkwardness. "So... didn't know you'd be here. Small world," Ryujin said, half-smiling. Yeji laughed nervously. "Yeah, crazy timing. Didn't expect to see you again." Ryujin teased, "You good? Didn't mess up out there?" Yeji shrugged. "You were on fire. I was just trying to keep up." As they chatted, the rest of the trainees started filtering in, chatting and joking. There was Lia, calm and collected; Chaeryeong, shy but talented; and Yuna, bubbly and full of energy. The group treated Ryujin and Yeji like normal friends, with no awkwardness. Lia asked, "So, you two already know each other? That's cool." Yuna teased, "Did you guys date or something?" Everyone laughed, and Ryujin grinned. "Something like that. It was... fun." Yeji blushed, quickly saying, "Don't make it sound weird." As the group chattered, Ryujin watched Yeji carefully, trying to figure out if she felt the same way. Yeji kept things light but looked a little conflicted internally. The group's warmth contrasted with the secret tension between the two girls. The trainer stepped in, clapping hands to get attention. "Alright, everyone! Let's move on to the next round. We'll be announcing the lineup soon." The group laughter faded as everyone started standing up, stretching and grabbing their stuff. Ryujin and Yeji exchanged a quick glance, but this time it was softer, almost like an unspoken question hanging between them. Yeji's internal thought was, I'm not sure what this is... but I don't want to lose her. Ryujin's thought was, Maybe this isn't just a one-time thing after all. As the girls started moving out, one of the future group members made a casual comment about how it was going to be a tough journey, hinting at challenges ahead - competition, teamwork, personal struggles. Ryujin felt a mix of excitement and uncertainty but knew that no matter what, Yeji's presence changed everything. In Ryujin's head, she thought, What if this is the start of something more? What if Yeji feels the same way? But what if she doesn't? I don't know if I can handle just being friends. As they walked out of the audition room, Yeji offered a small, genuine smile but quickly looked away to hide her feelings. Ryujin hesitated, then decided not to push it, letting the moment pass. The question lingered, unspoken, between them.
