"Hidden Truths Revealed"
Part 5
As the group made their way to the bathroom to freshen up before heading out to dinner, Shinwon took the opportunity to gather everyone's belongings, holding onto their bags and phones while they were occupied. While rummaging through the pile, her eyes landed on the photos they had taken at the photo booth earlier. A sly smile spread across her face as she scrolled through the pictures, her heart racing with excitement. She couldn't believe what she was seeing - a photo of Ryujin and Yeji sharing a tender kiss. Shinwon's eyes widened as she took in the intimate moment, her mind racing with thoughts. She couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions - surprise, excitement, and a hint of curiosity. She quickly put the photos back, her expression neutral once again. As the group exited the bathroom, Shinwon couldn't help but steal glances at Ryujin and Yeji, who seemed completely oblivious to the fact that their secret was now out. At least, to Shinwon. Later that evening, as they sat down for dinner, Shinwon couldn't resist teasing them. "So, Ryujin, I heard you're a bit of a hopeless romantic," she said, a sly grin spreading across her face. Ryujin looked up from her phone, confused. "What are you talking about, Shinwon?" Shinwon chuckled. "Oh, nothing, nothing. I just saw a certain someone's lips earlier today." Yeji's eyes narrowed, sensing that something was off. "What do you mean, Shinwon?" Shinwon quickly covered, trying to play it cool. "Oh, I just meant that you two make a great couple... as friends." The group laughed, and Ryujin and Yeji exchanged a look, still clueless. But as the night wore on, Shinwon continued to drop subtle hints, making references to "certain someone's" feelings and "special moments." Ryujin and Yeji exchanged awkward glances, but they still didn't catch on. It wasn't until they were walking back to their dorm, exhausted from the day's activities, that Ryujin finally turned to Yeji and whispered, "Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?" Yeji nodded, and they lagged behind the group. "What's up?" Ryujin's voice was low and nervous. "I need to tell you something. About that kiss in the photo booth... I didn't just do it on a whim. I did it because... well, I've been feeling a lot of pressure from the fans lately. They're always shipping us, and I didn't want to disappoint them." Yeji's eyes widened, surprised. "You did it for the fans?" Ryujin nodded. "Yeah, I know it sounds stupid, but I didn't want to let them down. And I thought it would be a fun way to get some good photos." Yeji looked skeptical, but Ryujin could see the doubt in her eyes. "It was a publicity stunt?" Yeji asked, her voice laced with uncertainty. Ryujin hesitated, feeling a pang of guilt. "Kind of... I mean, it wasn't entirely fake, but... I don't know, Yeji. I just felt like I had to do it." As they walked, Yeji couldn't help but notice the way Ryujin's eyes sparkled in the moonlight, or the way her hair fell in soft waves down her back. She felt a flutter in her chest, and suddenly, the kiss in the photo booth didn't seem so fake after all. But before she could say anything, Ryujin quickly changed the subject, and they rejoined the group, leaving Yeji with more questions than answers. And Shinwon, watching from afar, couldn't help but smile to herself, knowing that she had stumbled upon a secret that would change the dynamics of their group forever.
